Geez, I\'m surprised that the "Games that combine ideas from more than one gener" isn\'t winning. RPGs get boring after a while IMO. Press, wait, press, wait, press, wait, walk through a boring dungeon, enemy appears from nowhere, press, wait, press, wait, and this keeps repeating. I\'m surprised that I didn\'t go mad from this! Not many RPGs keep me coming back for more. After I beat it once, then I\'m done with it. I know what happens in the story and I don\'t want to repeat the press and wait cycle over again for no reason.
Sometimes a great RPG will come along and I might play it more than once, but that doesn\'t hasen\'t been happening lately. RPGs now a days barely have ANY replay value IMO.
To tell you the truth, I\'m a fan of no genre really. If a game is good and has a lot of replay value then I\'ll buy it, simple as that. I hated fighting games but I enjoyed Soul Caliber, I hate racing games but I liked Wave Race.
Anyways, I voted a game that mixes elements from other genres. Super Metroid, Zelda, the two Mario RPGs, and Conker 64 are the first ones that pop into my head. I like innovation, but only if the gameplay is good.
