I just don\'t see how Doa2 looks like doa3.

I just don\'t see how you can say the games looks a like. Even on early hardware doa3 looks much better doahc. Doa2hc is good looking game, but honestly you cannot say that these 2 games look the same.

I havent tried the demo yet..

Maybe I was drunk when I played DoA2 ;)
Im gonna go and see if it has jaggies or not..

XBOX- why dont you compare DoA3 screens with DoA2HC screens from IGN?

I don\'t compare the IGN SCREENS because they are old screens way back from TGS and gamespot has new screens from E3. So it is only fair to compare current screens of doa3 right.

holy crap, that was one fantastic looking screenshot Fastson...it really does look every bit as good as DoA3..unlike what XBOX was posting, they were just **** screen shots...like they were enlarged or something

Fastson they reviewed the game at TGS. And that last screen of doa2 you showed not an in game pic but rather a FMV pic.

Nope.. Its realtime..

A cutscene thats realtime, and it uses the models that is in the game.
If you\'ve played DoA2 you\'d know.

LOL now your really being a fanboy. LOOK at the previews in game fighting scene you showed of doa2hc it looks nothing like the FMV cut scene you just showed. If doa2hc looks that good then how come none of the previous in game fighting scenes look like that? Because what you showed was just a FMV cut scence.

Yes it is the same exact model of the same person. Just not the same graphical wise. Those two do not look the same. DO you see the lighting in the first one? Do you see how much detail that is in the first one compared to second one? THe first one is just a FMV cut scene.

Look at the clothes. In the first one they look more realistic, but in the second one they are more cartoony.
Firt pic is nothing but an FMV cut scene.

Lighting? Well thats because he\'s in a diffrent area than the first pic.
In the first pic he\'s in the woods or something..
In the second he\'s outside of the woods where its much lighter..

And about the textures..
What are you talking about, they are the same..

DoA2 uses the same models in cutscense as it does in the game(ingame)..
Thats a fact..

That is why you trying to compare one pic to a cut scene. SEE the difference. They look nothing a like.
The first one as a more realistic look. While the second one as a more cartoony look.




Yeah sure doahc looks good but not as good as your making it out too be.
