Oookay, took me 2 hours to d/l that damn .avi, but finally I got to see the movie (the lower-quality one) :
To me it looks like Tekken 3 on steroids. And not any usual steroids! The characters look cool with nice detailing (Paul now has hanging droopy hair! Hah, must\'ve run out of "Stick\'em up" -Hair gel). The action looks fast and furious, and the backgrounds are surprisingly pretty.
What comes to background interaction, it doesn\'t look like anything special. There are walls, you can smash your opponent nose-first into them, that\'s it... I\'d really love if you could put your opponent into a knot around the railing on the roof or something, but you can\'t have everything. Also, the multi-layered levels seen in DoA2 would be nice too, but no trace of that.
The graphics look fast and clean, though the shadows do look a bit weird occasionally and aren\'t projected onto the walls (see garage level). I so love to nitpick about little details.
Overall, I was positively surprised by the graphics, but I kinda expected more radical gameplay alterations (mainly ones involving usage of interactive background elements) and interactive backgrounds... anyways, this one\'s a sure hit already.
