Since it\'s such a popular and anticipated title, (and considering that there have been three Final Fantasy titles on the top 10 list for almost a year now), here\'s a word of warning: The Final Fantasy IV CD doesn\'t work. Well, it may or may not work for you, depending on your PlayStation, the phase of the moon, recent solar flare activity, and the beating of a butterfly\'s wings in a South American rainforest. RPGamer.com is reporting that EA has verified that there is a universal problem, so if you\'ve got a copy, it\'s probably just best to wait until a new batch has been delivered to your local retailer before exchanging it.According to several e-mails I\'ve received, the main problem is that the Final Fantasy IV disc of FFC won\'t work in a PSOne. Sony blames EA, EA blames Sony, and so on. Of course, both of my personal copies have failed to boot in a PSOne, PSX, and a PS2, so I vote that it\'s EA\'s fault. Mind you, with the holiday week here in the US, it\'s doubtful that there will be any final news about it until next week.

Originally posted by EmperorRob Yeah, but they may not have tested the production CD. The final copy on a retail machine. Which is bad oversight.
Originally posted by Psycomantis101 I bought a copy just last week and I have not had any problems with mine. How is it possible for only some to be defective and others to be fine?
