We are animals just like every one else on this planet!

I´m sorry if I make some people angry with this topic but I have to make my opinion clear about religon.

Over 80% of the people living on this planet belives in a God. I don´t. I´m a scientist.
There is hundreds of religons on this planets beliving in differet Gods. I respects that, but i dont like religon!! Why?
Because religon is the dominating force that causes war.
Almost every war in this world is caused because of religon.
You can try to say that this is not true, but it is.
Did you know that some scientists got killed because they said thet the earth was round? Many scientists have been killed because of religon.
The reason why God exists is easy in the eyes of a scientists.

When we lived in caves, we didnt know much about the world. We saw thing we could not explain, like lightining hit the earth, earthquake and stuff like that, we did not know why those phenomena happened. We started to belive that there was a God that make that happened, when the lightening hit the ground, it was a God! Because we coluld not explain it.
Religon was born.
Some of my friens at work tells me that we are not animals, we are not realeated to monkeys.
That is very funny. People belives that we are different from other lifeforms on this planet.
What are we? Are we like animals or are we "above "animals? What do you think ? Are we animals?

I believe we were created by God, and that the reason we have similarities to other animals is that they were all created by the same entity.

Science is a way to explain the unknown in a way that most people can agree.  It may not be right, but it\'s stable.  It\'s giving "humanly perceived" order to "chaos."

Religion is a way of trying to explain the unknown in a way in which we admit that we can\'t completely comprehend, and leave it at that.

So we are all created by this thing called God?

Are you saying  that God created the world and the Universe?

Who knows if we came from another planet???
We dont seem to fit on this planet.We are destroying it and creating things.Something no other animal does.
And then there are people with psychic powers like Uri Gueller and communications with aliens.....

Lets say God does not exist.Wouldnt we still beleive to a religion??
Its as if we need to beleive in God.

We are animals. You have to agree, we are the strangest animals on this planet.
I believe in "the reality", the idea that there is a truth out there beyond anyones beliefs.
and no matter what you believe in or what you think you know "the reality" is and always will be there.
Do you believe we were "put" here?

Yes, I am.  That is what I believe.  There\'s proof for it, there\'s proof against it.  I believe that were we not created to be able to comprehend all the inner-workings of life and the universe.  I\'m not saying we shouldn\'t try, cause we\'ve learned so much.  But we\'ll never fully understand.

One thing is for sure.We can set our boundaries of logic.

Someone might find the existance of God logical.Some might find the non-existance of God logical.

Scientist still cant explain Uri Gueller\'s  powers.

The thing is that people even today in the year 2001 thinks that there is something called a God that created us. Damn that is sad, havent the humanity evolved?

I love this Topic. It reminds me that there are bigger things out there and that reality is only the way you look at things. Both views are the same. Religion believes that a higher being not of this earth put us here & others who believe aliens placed us here. Its the same belief just different names of things. "The Reality" is the only true way to believe. Recognize that it exists and you cover all of your bases.

Wars are started by people, not gods.

IF he created the world ,he turned his back on this world and left a long time ago.
To many things get out of control here on this earth.

God gave us individuality and independence.  Humanity chose to turn their back on God, God din\'t turn (his) back on us.

Why doesn\'t he fix everything?  He will, he has a plan, and it\'s not for us to fully comprehend.
