Did you even play the game? The characters were very detailed as PSX goes. They looked real enough to me. You could tell the different ranks of soldiers as you played.

spritish?

Hey I remember that level in Medal Of Honor: UNDERGROUND. Release date: Oct27 2000. When was Goldeneye released again?
Aug 27, 1997.

It took 3 effing years to look slighty better than Goldeneye? In fact, the textures in that shot of MOH:U look BLURRY, and it has some extreme aliasing problems going on. Give me five minutes and I can find a better shot of Goldeneye.

But until then, here\'s the game which puts shame to those graphics.

Nice reflections.

Ah, light sourcing.

Admit it, Perfect Dark blows it away.

*All these shots I have saved so don\'t mention the fact that I have nothing to do. :)*

PD looks nice. But play multiplayer and you are stuck with chugging gameplay.

I spent around 100 hours with PD\'s multiplayer probably. I\'m too busy enjoying it with my friends to care about anything esle.

But, two player on PD is a lot more sustainable than MOH\'s. It really is. One on one is a blast. 3 player isn\'t even that bad compared to Goldeneye, but the four player is the one that suffers the most.

Plus, Perfect Dark\'s multiplayer makes quick meat out of Undergrouds. There are soooooooooooooo many options. Up to 8 stimulants, co-op mode so you can play every single player level with a friend, a lot of innovative and fun modes, many levels including some Goldeneye classics, the multiplayer simply could not of been better with the N64\'s storage medium. It\'s perfect, pun intended. ;)

yes, yes and how much more advanced was the N64 compared to the PSX\'s 33mhx system?

that is NOT an average N64 pic

when has ANY N64 game been THAT crisp?

the photos are obviously doctored

and please stop talking about multiplayer 4 way
who REALLY enjoys looking at an 8 inch corner of a TV screen?

I do!

The 4-player game is my favorite part!

Not by very much. But in the end, when developers...er...Rare and EAD started taking advantage of N64\'s full power, you would know that the N64 is the superior console of the two.

One thing that continues to go nonespoken is PD\'s advanced AI. The enemies were fairly smart. They\'d call for help when needed, they pretend to surrender, and they wouldn\'t rush in at you continuously. Nothing breathtaking, but impressive nonetheless for last generation.

Rare is not your average developer.

Zelda:OOT and MM were close to that calibur, but the only game that matches and even surpasses PD graphics wise is none other than Conker\'s Bad Fur Day. That game was easily the best looking game of last generation.

Nope, just damn good looking. :D

But a piece to the puzzle is missing...the game ran off the expansion pack. That explains the clean textures and sustainable framerate.

True, but 3 player is pretty enjoyable, and two player is the bomb. Add stimulants and you got the best console multiplayer EVA.

PD\'s advanced AI?

i never saw a replicant dive on a frickin\' hand grenade  to save his german buddies from certain death

did replicant pick up granades and chuck them back at you?

or did they simply have good "tracks" to run on and uncanny aim?

Wow, so MOH\'s enemies were programmed to do different things.

Both are pretty advanced if you ask me. When you played Perfect Agent in PD, then you\'d know these guys aren\'t idiots.

What happened to your graphics argument on PD???...

Those pics are clearly not doctored!!!

Just check the properties. I got them straight from IGN64. Perfect Dark is just a damn good looking game. One of the best of last generation.

I didn\'t post any Goldeneye pics because I couldn\'t find any. IGN64 has really, REALLY low resolution pics and Gamestop doesn\'t have any.  But here are IGNs fuzzy wussy pics.

Most of them are blurry as hell like this one.

MOH did not look any better than Goldeney, but MOH:U is a major improvement graphics wise over MOH and does indeed look better than GE.

But just admit it! Perfect Dark looks a lot better than MOH:U!!!

I can vouch for Jumpman that those pics weren\'t doctored... I remember PD\'s graphics being the only good thing about the game.

I just booted the game up to that level(Air Force One) and I can\'t calmy say that it does look that good. I went to that exact spot and everything looked exactly the same.
