Looks like ho3j beat me to it. ;)

Low-quality, but still nice.  Finally a PS2 platformer to get excited about.

You can have the Herdy Gerdy post ;)  Yeah, GameSpot has some of the worst SSs around.  At least they cannot hide gameplay because those areas just begged to be played.

DirectXbox, you\'re right about the missing J/D shadows. But I\'m
sure ( hope ) ND will put something in at later stage of developement. Plus, those pics are just crappy captures.
That Shrek pic does rule though ! ( but I see it still needs work )     :D
However I\'m kinda underwhelmed by the Luigi pic.

It looks pretty good, and I\'m confident the gameplay will kick ass. BTW, Bouncer does have realtime shadows, not just \'circular\' ones.

Look at the lighting and real-time shadows.  Look at the complex texture work.It\'s no longer about how many polygons you can push, it\'s now about making the polygons you can push look better.  If these three games where running on their respective kiosks at a game retailer, do you think J & D has the goods to compete?  C\'mon Naughty Dog, surprise us!

Well if you\'re only interested in graphics, get an XBOX.

Geez, despite all the good comments on gameplay and graphics you decide it sucks because he doesn\'t have shadows. Thats sad, real sad.

The shadows for dakster are complete, look at the last pic.
Its a little circular blob.
Also look at pic one, another one.
They must be doing it piecemeal.

At E3 ND stated Shadows and water effects where still to be added. Bump mapping could be depending on time restraints
