Not exactly a classic game (in the scenes of pre-32/64 bit era, but...)
Resident Evil had its intro censored (severed hand, dog head being blown off, half eatened face in Japanese version, while US version, right when these about to show it, it cuts to the next scene), when you come apon the body of the black Star\'s member (name escapes me right now) the Japanese version had his head roll into view before the zombie turns his head and looks at you. In the American version, all it shows is blood, then the zombie looks at you. For whatever reason, the PSX version only suffered this censorship. The PC version, didn\'t have them.
Soul Blade (or Soul Blade 2, one of these games), the intro had a half naked woman rise from the water. In the American version, the woman is more covered up.
UnJammyLammy had the main charecter slip on a bannana peel, die, and go to hell and had to sing her way out of hell. In the US version, she slipped, didn\'t die, and went to an island where she had to sing her way back home.
Resident Evil 2. Head falls from ceiling when you first encounter the lurker, which wasn\'t in the US version. Though from what I hear, it might not be in the Japanese version either so...
And more recently...
Giants for the PC. One charecter you could play, completely naked with a seethough veil as a skirt. US version, more covered up.
Twisted Metal: Black. Yes, even this game that pushes the envelope of violence in games may in fact be censored. Remember Darkside and how her "boss" was the one abusing her and gave her the mask? Originally, from what I have heard, her boss used to be her "father". And it was more then putting on her mask that he did to her. But, we can\'t have that, now, can we? Now, is other things censored from the game, I\'m not sure. Sony or Incog Inc. really hasn\'t said if anything else was censored. Still, very disturbing game even with the censor.
