Oh God, it amazes me how many times people are wishing to put something down they have not even played.  Give the game a bloody chance!!!

I\'ve saw the game running on TV, and it looks very slick - the framerate is sweet, the anitaion is smooth and the draw distance is fantastic.

The problem nowdays is how anal some people have got about graphics.  It\'s not the be all and end all, and anyway, there\'s nothing wrong looking with this game.

GIVE.....IT.....A.....CHANCE.....

ive seen this game in motion and it is outstanding...running at a solid 60 fps....high polygonal count and all....
you think this game has bad character design?...unbelievable...
go check out the new link for zelda cube and then talk crap about character design...cause thats really poor.

The game should get its own website soon. Check out the new naughty dog website from time to time. Be sure to check out the section with the developers pics, it`s funny (of course with some little picking on X-box).

Jumpman, did you completely ignore the reviews that were done way back at E3? This is what ps2.ign said about the draw distance:

This is what I have to say about the draw distance-it\'s blurry.

Not very nice if you ask me.

Not enough detail for supposedly pushing 75% of PS2\'s power IMO.

Dang, it seems the only way to make an impression on some people is with a shovel upside the head.

I\'m not a huge fan of platformers but this one has me really looking forward to it. From what I\'ve read much more brilliant than in just the vibrant look, which I like a lot.

Ah.. Well you forgot one little detail..
The air could be humid/moist?

If you go to the north pole on a clear day I bet you could see for miles and miles cuz the air is so dry..

Well this is in a very tropical enviroment.. So the air should be very humid/moist..

When the air is moist its "filled up" with tiny wateratoms..
You can not see one wateratom with a human eye..
But if you put several together you can see them..

Well. Im sure youve learnd all this in school!

See my point?

There should be no argument. This game looks sweet and it makes good use of the PS2\'s texture streaming capabilities. The game is supposed to resemble a cartoon so the textures really should not be that detailed. They look just right and the models look very detailed also. Those aren\'t very good pictures for showing off the draw distance because the draw distance is pretty much infinite for this game. You stand on one side of the game area and you can see the other side. Plain and simple. I have full faith in Naughty Dog to pull out a system selling franchise.

That\'s fogging. A technique that a lot of poor graphical games use to hide pop-up. The thing is, every shot where you can see into a fairly large distance has a blurry or foggy look to it. Hence, why I said it has a poor draw-distance which is correct.
