Jumpman, you ran off saying, "talking to us is like talking to a brick wall."  But in reality, its the other way around -- talking to you is like taking to a brick wall.  Person after person has given you examples of why Jak and Daxter is "worldly correct," but you just ignore what they say.

I could go through everything everyone else has already said which is more than enough to prove your hatred/blindness towards Naughty Dog, but instead, I have one question for you.  You say that "The textures and character models are average, and it has a terrible draw-distance."  What exactly are you comparing this too?

Anyone still want to continue after seeing this screenshot? Look how close he is to the blurry mountains, THEY SHOULDN\'T LOOK LIKE THAT. If you people ever out-side then you would realize that.

Take a look under the right arm-pit of the farthest montsters from the left hand side of screen. You can actually see what the line where starts to get blurry.

uh jumpman if im correct, those are early shots. like the first shot.

and the game has been praised for draw distance, it renders the whole world. you see some place in the distance, you can probably go there.

Well all I gotta say Jumpman is, from what I\'ve seen and read about this game, you\'re gonna be missing out on something very special indeed, and I\'m sure the majority of these boards will agree on that.

Oh well your loss I suppose.

You can make do with the Awesome, fantasticly brilliant, out of this world new look Zelda game (that 80% of Nintendo fans hate) thats coming to the GC

Your loss on missing out on the next Zelda game. Too bad for you, not me. Some of us can see past graphics.

And I\'m getting PS2 next Christmas after this one so it\'s possible I\'ll get this game along with it depending on the reviews it gets, fanboy.

Get over it. Even if the mountains look blurry, the mountains are still being drawn. It\'s not like the fog is covering them up like in Turok. Whether it\'s for an atmospheric effect, or they\'re using depth-of-field, who knows. But blurry or not, the polygons are there. Stop being so sure of yourself. Are you here to claim a prize? Watch a movie of J&D and you will be able (err should) to appreciate its beauty. Your open hatred for Naughty Dog only hurts your credibility on this debate.

Yeah yeah they\'re still being drawn, but they\'re still blurry which was my main point. They should look crisper. I just expect better, that\'s all.

And yes, I have watched movies of this game and I have seen better. I\'m not easily impressed with graphics.

Jumpman, if you bothered to download a J&D video, you\'d notice that the backgrounds aren\'t blurry when the game is in motion. Remember one of those screens is likely to be missing 59 frames of animations, cos that is a screen of ONE frame. Come back after you\'ve watched the video. There a just so many effects and animations going on in this game, that a still screenshot is worth nothing. Go and read the preview at IGN, they have actually played the game, and they are amazed

Jumpman, not only are you making a fool of your self by judging this game only by those screens, that aren\'t even close to high quality by the way, you have also proven like many have said before me, you are nothing more than a hopless Nintendo Fanboy. While you have your NGC and those great launch titles (can you smell any sarcasaim here?) PS2 will have games like MGS2, J&D,Silent Hill and Splashdown, while you have what? Pikmin, Wave Race and the very unimpressive Luigi\'s Mansion, oh yeah lets not forget the power puff girl look-alike link in his very, very  happy adventure. Heck your not even getting Mario until next year! Mario has always been there at launch. So once again wait until some good quality screens of J&D come out, before you start making a$$ of yourself, Now whatcha think about that Sucka?

J & D looks amazing have you guys seen the e3 trailer?  Its tight, last time I heard when this game finally comes out its going to be pushing a whooping 10mps at 60fps.  Which is amazing for a 2nd gen game.  This looks better than most gamecube games.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

You tell \'em GAMES!!!!!!!!  I know so far ps2 been WAY more impressive than gamecube.  Jumpman do me a favor download the J & D e3 trailer and compare that to marion sunshine.  J & D looks a whole lot better.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

Actually guys Jak & Daxter will be pushing near 13-15mpps when released. Awesome! Yeah I agree the E3 Trailer is amazing, and even that isn\'t the highest quality vid I\'ve ever seen! I have a DVD from PSW I think, it has the same video @ full screen, amazing! Blows Mario Sunshine away! Mario is living on his name like Tomb Raider IMO.
