Can someone explain to me What makes Ico a great game

Yeah. Your right, It did seem to be personal when those shadows tried to take that girl away. I played it again to try and answer your question but I cant tell u what makes this game a great game. all i know is (IMO) this game will be pretty good even though i heard that it is short.

I love ICO,
the anime feel of the characters, the beautiful graphics, and nice puzzles, the occasional battle to work out your thumbs, and the mystery behind ICO. hmmmm, i think it is just the idea of being a kid, and trying to save a girl... it is something very decent that a lot of us would probably do. At least i would try to save a girl from trouble. Must be the caveman in me coming out, lol  Grrr, save woman, eat, hunt.

The game just gets you.

IGN\'s review said there\'s about 8-10 hours of gameplay time with so so replay value. With the plethora of other quality titles comming out in the next few weeks Ico has been officially relegated to my \'3 Day Rental Only\' list. Still looking forward to playing it though.

Welp after reading everyones  opinion I can safely say from my point of view its everything I thought it was, and I still do not understand why people think this game is so great

Very good I could agree with, but some people have been willing to give up their 1st born male child for this game over at IGN and I just can not relate

I supose that it just depends on the person that plays it, i have just seen the 2 movies from IGN and they are EYE poopingly good, i think this game will fit in very nicely into my ever growing collection of PS2 games.

Damn, it does appear to be short
But i think i might still buy it.
