Last year around this time, as Ddaryl mentioned, the American and UK gamers didn\'t have PS2\'s, well, \'cept people who imported one. So , everyone came to the boards and was just totally excited and we had these dumb threads like a huge countdown..
Now\'a\'days that just isn\'t anything to get excited about. I can\'t think of any decent games (in my opinion) that have came out in quite sometime. Infact, this is the first month in the longest time that I haven\'t bought two or three games. No wait, I did buy four games this month, I went and bought some old SNES games....
Another reason the boards are so quite is because a lot of us had to slow down to personal reasons. Quite a few are slowed down due to school. I personally can\'t post near as much because of 12 hour work shifts (Ugh! Damn them!).
This happens though, the board will get a lot of posts and then slow down. It also never fails that someone will post a thread like this..
Just remember, "Off-Topic" is alive and well and rarely ever slows down , which is totally opposite of what it was like last year at this time.
