I\'m with Ironfist, after vii the series took a huge plunge with vii and did take back a lot of ground with ix but still doesnt iv up to it late snes eary psx work. However, I think they have gotten it right with x.

FFIX was waaaaayy too easy. It lacked the challenge of 6 and 7, hell and even 8.

The one thing that really bothered me about 8 was the junction system. I would be on a boss kicking ass only to find a little latter in the battle i could no longer even with max health withstand a hit from the boss. What happened you ask well i used all the healing spells junctioned to me health to heal me durring the battle so now my max HP is a couple thousand hit points bellow where it should be. How frustrating.

Every New Final Fantasy I have to change my tactics acourding to the games. Its as much apart as the game as a new magic system and a revamped battles. I\'ve liked everysingle one and I don\'t think it will stop with this or the next or the next after that.

FFVII and VIII hard? :laughing: They\'re cake compared to the old stuff. I was actually disappointed in how easy FF has become.

I know FF6 had one of the best storylines in any RPG, but I haven\'t been able to play it for more than 10 minutes.  I tried playing an emulated version, but the graphics were so bad and the gameplay was so boring, I just quit playing it.  It was probably great for its time, but now, it sucks.

FF7 had one of the best story lines ever in an RPG.  It is the game that got me addicted to RPGs.  The materia system is something that I have missed in every other RPG.  I wish they would bring it back for FF12.

FFTactics was the second best FF game I\'ve played.  It\'s story was confusing until I played through a couple times, but the gameplay was perfect.  I really want to see a FFT2.

FF8 started out amazing.  The opening movie was/is the coolest computer animated movie I have ever seen.  Unfortunately, it went downhill from there.  The gameplay was so repetitive.  At the beginning I made the biggest mistake I could have made.  I leveled up my guys.  They all had more than 30,000 hp before I got off the first island because of that junctioning thing.  After that, the game was a breeze.  I don\'t think I died even once. :(  The story in this game was way screwed up.  The villain didn\'t live up to Sephiroth.

I am trying to play through 9, but I keep on getting bored and just turning it off.  I hope 10 can cure me of this "I hate RPGs" syndrome.

FF10 sounds great.  The globe leveling up system might take the materia systems spot in my heart. :)  I can see myself trying to get my main character to be a summoner, a fighter, a magic person, well, just about everything. :)  It is going to be fun.
