I don\'t know about Main Forum - but Off-topic is far from dead.
It is just that many oldbies have vanished ( where\'s mm - he hardly ever posts anymore or Aaron, who had a long break, posted quite a bit in a short period and vanished again? ). And some very promising new members as well - Troglodyte ( was the FASTEST poster easily, plus never spammed, but only for a while ).
I haven\'t seen Living-in-Clip for a while - but I\'m pretty sure he\'s around.
I have been trying to raise up the interest towards this board again - but I think I\'m not succeeding. Yet at least.
I have NEVER had ANY problems with our moderators nor admins. What have made them so special is their acting. They\'re not over-zealous - they\'re just like everyone. They sound, act, and be whom they are; just like a normal member - they\'re not acting powerful. Of course they have to do their job, but they\'re very friendly and wise - just prime examples of what a member should aim for. They\'re nothing over-special, uber-human, and they certainly don\'t act like they\'d be.
Power can get to one\'s head - but they have been saved from it.
Perfect example of a member whom became Moderator, not too long ago: Samwise. I remember what he was like when he was a member, and I was quite afraid after he got selected to be a moderator that he\'d change; but no. He\'s just like he was.
And I must say that as of late, moderators haven\'t had too much job. They have of course moved a lot of topics - but I haven\'t seen any trolls around. They\'re too the wave from past...
