Whats so good ABOUT THE GAMECUBE?

Will someone explain to me why we need to explain to someone "what is so good about the gamecube"?  If you don\'t see a reason to buy it - i.e, "it doesn\'t play DVD movies" , then don\'t buy one. We don\'t need to list one hundred reasons for you to buy one. Just like, we don\'t need to list a hundred reasons not to buy one...

I am personally very excited about the Gamecube, with strong Nintendo franchises, sign me up, infact, I am goin\' later today (my only day off for another week) to pay in full on my GC and Luigi\'s Mansion.

As for the "press conference" , like Eik said, I\'m sure it will be full of unbiased information..

im sure youll have so much fun blasting ghosts over and over again in that cheap ass blocky mansion that looks like an n64 in high rez....oh did i forget to mention how much youre going to love the music in that game?...im telling you,  nintendo must have some of the best composers in the gaming industry...

Accually, The Mario Bros. Theme is one of the most popular songs in the world. Also theres the Zelda theme too. Also thats just one game, Rogue Leaders 5.1 Dolby Pro Logic II is supposed to be great. Your post betrays you. Did you ever think outside of your "Lets all bash the GC" world? Maybe it would be fun to suck up ghosts.  And if you have seen any other game thats horror like in a Mansion such as Resident Evil, I suppose that would be really blocky to.

Well, you are acting pretty baised if you haven\'t seen you are acting that way yet, This entire post was negative, you bashed the GameCube and Living Chip. Maybe if you just would put some facts into your posts than you wouldn\'t seem so 1 sided.

WTF? 5.1 surround and ProLogic are two different surround formats. ProLogic only uses a mono signal for the rear speakers, therefore there are \'only\' 4 channels. If Dolby ProLogic II is something new in the US, please clear me up on this one, as we don\'t use this format in europe. thanks.

Glad you asked Seven, Dolby Prologic 2 is relatively very brand new. What it does is eliminate all latency between the game and the speakers. It is mainly made for fast action shootings for the new consoles. While not as good as Dolby Digital, DD is supposed to have latency problems. And I\'m about 80% sure DPII is 5.1
