Wow, crispy ingame screens. Realize this is Sony 1st party stuff.
I\'ve already read some very positive previews about this game.
Seems like the \'castle/environment\' is one big model with zero loading time.
Can you spot the jaggies ? I can\'t - there are non ! LOL :laughing:  PS2 is graphically a piece of crap, huh ?:rolleyes:
Shame the game will launch here in Europe January next year, I can\'t wait.

ICO is seriously the most beautiful game I have ever played. you literally get immersed and lost in the world. the lighting is amazing. It actually simulates the effect when you look at something bright, it takes a second or two to adjust.( when using the look around function.)

there is fogging, but it is more like mist- it looks realistic and somewhat dissapears when you zoom in.
the sound is great-ambient sound is perfect. there is no in-game
music. (thank you!)

The game seemed too short, though- I wanted it to go on & on.

Well, Metal_Gear_Ray, I think real bump mapping is just \'one bridge too far\' for PS2, at least at such a scale. But if you look
carefully I think you can see that the textures were bump mapped in their production process. Anyway, I really like the
drawdistance and the jaggie free visuals.
Hah, did you read the Power Unlimited preview on ICo ? It was
real good and positive.
Die nieuwe Jurjen previewdde Ico. (die gast die jaren voor allerlei Nintendo blaadjes geschreven heeft) Maar eerlijk is eerlijk. Hij gaf credits waar credits belong, en dat is in dit geval Sony 1st party dev.

nieuwe pu, huh die heb ik nog niet is het de ene met DMC op de voorkant?? Nouja, het blad is echt biased towards nintendo het werd tijd dat ze ps2 wat credit geven (DMC een hoge 8, wahaha!):laughing:

it is literally less than 10 hours long. I did it in about 1-2 hour sessions. (only stopping when I got frustrated at a puzzle.) I only got killed about 5 times.

I\'m no rocket scientist, but the puzzles were pretty easy.

I didn\'t pass ICO yet but its the most breath taking game.  


In this picture, you have to see the wind blowing the trees.  It moves and twist with the wind!  UNREAL!!!  :eek:

It is a beautiful game. I finished it twice, 7 hours first time, and 3 hours the second. Odd thing is that I believe it is running in low res. It wasn\'t noticeable at all while on my Wega, it was quite stunning actually,  but on my HD set it is visually akin to a PSX game.

That\'s muh baby... I loved that game... I might have to beat it again since I\'m finished with DMC..... No wait..... MGS2 is out soon..... NEVERMIND!

I love the graphics.... And the game is so addicting.:)
