Anyone who enjoys tekken,sf, or 3d fighting games save vf1 an vf2 can not complain about doa3 playing like doa2.

I do not enjoy Tekken.  I enjoy Virtua Fighter.  I also enjoy STreet Fighter.  How can I not complain about Dead or Alive again?  It\'s like saying that if I don\'t like Star Trek, I can\'t appreciate Star Wars and that\'s just ignorant.  How can I not have an opinion on something I am experienced in?  You sure are a strange little man.

I think his point was that each series is just a rehash. However, if he has obviously not dedicated enough time to realize that massive differences in per say the VF series. Each game had something massively different. Unlike the DOA series which is so damn shallow already and now they rehash it with flashier graphics, well, it just doesn\'t work...

I can name a change in every street fighter sequel (meaning from part 1-->2-->3) that changed the gameplay significantly.  Why bother though?  With Quddus, it just falls on def ears.

Ryu there is a change in every fighting game. Whether it is a character, stages or graphics.

But they all play the same. If I only played sf2 in my entire life i can pick up any street fighter and be familure with the character moves. Bison,ryu,ken...ect...ect...you would feel right at home.

I never said I liked doa\'s gameplay. I think doa,and tekken are all in the same group of shallow fighters.  They are fun but get dull.  I enjoy capcom fighters more now of days. Only tekken I think I really enjoyed was tekken 2.

I never liked doa2 or doa2 hc. I thought they both where a waist of my money. I am not a big fan but I do enjoy the series playing with friends.

Ohhh..Really? I\'m glad you think that..

You obviously have never played any Street Fighter in depth, otherwise you would know that Capcom changes the characters quite abit for the most part, whether it be taming them down or changing their moves in general..Not to mention learning new things like supers / parries / etc.

Its very True what LIC said

Street fighter always changes, Even if it is the speed of the characters or damage the moves do, every character undergoes a series of modifications in every street fighter game. If you are the master of Ryu in Alpha 2 it doesn\'t mean you are the master of ryu in alpah 3.

This is what all the doa games have been lacking, the only thing that ever changed were the move from square non-Interactive fighting planes to 3d interactive backgrounds

I don\'t understand.  Are you looking forward to DOA3 or not?  Because that last sentence completely contradicted itself.  You didn\'t like the gameplay in DOA2, and you thought it was a waste of your money, yet you still like the game when playing against friends?  Hmmm...

Umm yes have. Sf was the first fighting game I feel in love with. But What I am saying is if some only played sf2 and all it\'s characters. Your saying that they would not feel familuar with sfex3? Tell me that Ryu fire ball is not still have circle punch. Or you still would not have to hold back 2 seconds then forward punch for to make M.bison fly.

All I am saying they would feel rite at home because all the moves they learned in sf2 are still in game.

Having old moves reborn anew does not mean the gameplay is identical.  Sure, Ryu\'s fireball is still the same so is his dragon punch and his whirlwind kick, but just play  Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter 3 and tell me the games are exactly the same.  Go ahead, try it.  Everything about both games is so different that the few base moves you speak of need to be completely rethought of when you play.  It\'s the additions to these basics that make every game in SF different.  DOA2-->DOA3 lacks this completely focusing on better graphics rather than any improvements on the gameplay.
