5Q|_|/-\\R3 0\\/\\/|\\|5 j00!!11

Dey are de storyline kinds and final fantasy alone owns me, netherlone their other stellar titles (penis) of th past present and future (6+9 = erection) they have also shown their verilitiy by making many great games from other genres

i dunno, i love sega too, and sega are probably more  consistant with their games than Square, but...Squares best games i hold WAY above sega\'s

thats jut the way it is...things\'ll never be the same

uhh...hardly...it has the best storyline and has a lot of depth in its sublpots and character developement etc.  but thats not necessarily the work of the best developers...its the work of Hinorobi Sakaguchi, its more creative flair, than abilities  :D

ever play eirgeiz?  considered one of the more innovative fighters around

and tobal 2 is still considered one of the best fighters ever by most critics i hear

Bushido Blade perhaps?

plus Bouncer was fun, too short, but fun (exxxxccccccellent multiplayer)

they have other games in other genres that are considered to be fantasticasticals, such as Einhander

and their RPG\'s are unparralelled

Booya, I made a discussion.

Their RPGs are only better because their games are more visible than a Sega RPG or a Game Arts RPG. Anybody I know who has a privilege of playing Panzer Dragoon Saga, Grandia (the Saturn version, not the jacked up PSX version), Phantasy Star II or IV, Lunar 1 or 2, or the Shining Force series can tell you that they are as good or better than Square\'s best.

Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III are excellent RPGs but are no match for Panzer Dragoon Saga. Note that if you look at almost all of my past RPG posts, I will name Chrono Trigger as my favorite, I did not play PDS before that. Now I know.

PDS can be completed in 20 hours or 70 hours, it is how you play the game that makes the experience, flying through the game beating everyone, or getting every item, fighting every battle and exploring every cave, you decide.

The cutscenes actually develop the story, and are relevant, while many of Squares are not.

pfft, says you, all opinion my friend  :)  BUT i will give you the little victory of knowing that i am not too familiar with Sega\'s RPG\'s, i do however find it hard to believe ill like any games better than FF7, CT, FF3 and FF9...they are so far ahead of any other game ive played...but who knows, i might be singing another tune altogether one day

pfft, so\'s every RPG ive ever played, whats the difference?  do tell...im interested (seriously (slimey donkey cock (german children playing in New Jersey shouting "Man, its like a sauna in here" (taking a sh1t on your head and laughing at your disgrace)))))

pfft, cut scene is irrelevant, final fantasy and most other Square RPG\'s use in game graphisc and your standard fair of talking, clicking, talking, masturbating, clicking etc. etc. etc.  there basically arent any cut scenes (not in the traditional sense), and i got no problem with that...the FMV\'s on the other hand, well...why not put them in?  in some cases they advace the story.in other cases...they are just eye candy (and some of the best FMV eye candy known to man (woman (lawnmower testicles)))  why not put them in??  they are there for action sequences etc. intro\'s..endings...why put them in parts to dvance the story, when the whole god damn game is directed towards the irreverent task of advancing the story, ****knuckle

The difference is, is that no other RPG makes it worth your while to actually complete all tasks and find everything. The game on a whole feels more complete and more worthwhile when you do. The second time I beat Chrono Trigger felt the same, even though I tried to do everything, probably more than I should have.

Here is what you need to do. Get Genecyst (an emulator) download Phantasy Star II and IV, and Shining Force II. get a comfortable chair and play them! You will be hooked when you give them a chance. Trust me.
