And Rastalant, I never said that I didn\'t accept GC\'s new Zelda look, I said I was disappointed, but that I\'m sure it\'s gonna be a great game. I love Zelda so much and have so much faith in Nintendo that I know they\'ll make it a fun game.

Thats the differences I lost all my faith in nintendo after snes.......it been downhill for me.  But back to the topic, I was expected the spaceworld 2000 which looked amazing but why did they have to  make it so kiddy looking?!?!!?  Whats up with that?  I know nintendo\'s kiddy but.........sheeesh...........

Shiggy hinted towards the development of two Zelda\'s. The "Cel"da version. And one similiar to what you saw at Spaceworld.

I\'m sure that Shiggy will develop a mature one as well.

This is stupid.  Just had to say that before I started saying my piece and this is not to anyone in particular, but it\'s just a general statement.

2D games are good.

3D games are good.

People like what they want to like.

Whether or not a game is of a particular style or not is irrelevant IF YOU HAVE YET TO PLAY IT.  All a developer needs is some time, some foresight, some ingenuity, and some insight into how to make great games even better.  It just takes a little bit of love and patience.  Give it a chance, who knows, it could be the best thing since Halo with atmosphere great enough to dwarf even super metroid.  However, worry not, among all these Metroid screenshots for the cube, there\'s a new 2D metroid being developed for the GBA.  We get the best of both worlds as far as I\'m concerned.

I never said that it wouldn\'t be good.  I\'m sure it will be.  But a 3d, FPS cannot capture metroid.  Bring me the 2d game and I\'ll be happy.

It can be good but it wouldn\'t have the same metriod "feel" due to nintendo changing the whole genre.  Metriod was a 2d side scroller  and now its a 3d FPS  which really aren\'t to similar.  A 2d metriod would feel more like the classic metriod games.

Okay if it doesn\'t play or feel nothing like a metriod game why would they consider it a sequel.  A sequel has very similar gameplay elements to its previous version.

I am trying to block out Metriod Prime totally and look forward to the new 2D Metriod for the GBA and the port of Super Metriod to the GBA, and yet you people keep bringing up a FPS with the name of Metriod Prime?

Anyways, as for the actual topic. Yes, for a FPS it looks all stylish and what not. However, there is no way on this green earth you can recreate some of the elements that Super Metriod had with the FPS.

In short, it may be good (I doubt it...but, hey, I\'ll be nice..) but it won\'t be  Metriod...
