Still though, its not that bad paying 1/2 and its used. And you get to play RE. Thats bascially my only reason for wanting a GC in the first place. I payed full price for my Xbox, and only have 1 game for the time being. But buying a GC won\'t be to bad, as long as you have the RE games to play.

Plus now you\'ll be able to play Disney\'s Donald Duck Goin\' Quackers!!

Seriously, if you just read down the list, you almost forget it\'s a Nintendo console for a while.  (Possibly because Nintendo itself is slacking off this quarter.)

You DO realize that if Comcom figures out that they can make money on graphical updates, that all the NGC Res Evils will probably head over to Xbox and PS2 given a bit more time. Maybe if these games had been made 10 years ago, I\'d fork out the cash for these updates.. but pretty graphics don\'t inspire me to spend 300+bucks on games that (for the most part) I already have.

If I do decide to buy a GC later on, it\'ll be for SSB:M, SF:DP, PD2, and some of the other - original- titles that are being released on the system.

There\'s no reason to actually hate Nintendo, but the way I look
at it, is the lists\' very nice games (according to my taste) are in the \'RUMOR\' section.
And lately I\'ve been reading lotsa rumors about little \'artistic\'
differences between Nintendo and some of it\'s 2nd party devs.
BTW what happened to Mr. Jumpman ?

LMAO

I find it pretty hilarous when a person thinks they have to spend a couple hundred just to play a videogame.

It isn\'t worth it, and there has to be 100 other great things to do with your time and your money then having to own all the best VG stuff around

At least I will never understand that thought process. I can\'t even bring myself to spend money on a 2nd console, or upgrading my PC thats 3 years old.

but then again I have huge plans for my house which includes making my own furniture, expanding the master beddroom and kitchen, my greenhouse and my gardens. Not to mention a river rafting trip, and saving up for a trip to Hawaii in a few years

I just can\'t fathom spending that much time and effort ofr just VG\'s

Not to be rude or anything, but the time you spend here is about the equivelant of the time most of us with multiple consoles put into videogames.  I don\'t see how that\'s so hard to fathom or understand.

99% of the time I post here is when I\'m at work. I carry a radio and when the radio pages me I go to work, otherwise I sit and surf the net while doing side jobs in front of my PC here at work. SO basically I get paid $29.50 an hour while I post here, and time and 1/2 on Sat and DOuble time on Sunday like today

I spend maybe 1 hour a week on the net when I\'m hone and thats pushing it.

and I stand by what I said, above. There are too many other great things to do with time and money then just VG\'s. Nobody needs all 3 systems and a top PC IMO.

Sorry but I personnally can\'t fathom it, for a person to spend that much time and money on VG\'s one would have to be sacrificing a good portion of a meaningful life IMO

and its not really a money thing either, even though I would rather spend cash on some power tools and vactioning etc...

its the time factor. To play all the cool games on all these systems and really get the most out of them a person would have to sit in fornt of there TV approx. 4 hours a day. Add in the amount of time people go to school and/pr work and further more the other things that just have to get done in a persons life that is pretty much all of your freetime or a solid portion of it.

Its great to be a huge fan of videogames, but there\'s a line between a fun hobby and obssesive behavior

and it is just my opinion. I could care less, I just don\'t understand how people justify it. I have so many other things I want to do and have fun with well outside the world of VG\'s. I could never find the time or willingly part with the money it would take to own all systems. I\'d rather install a hot tub on my patio and improve my gardens surrounding sed patio.

I am pushing 20 systems, a handful of arcade machines, hundreds of different games and I can\'t fathom how someone WOULDN\'T spend this much on gaming.

My latest game: Ghouls and Ghosts for SMS. Yet another find for my SMS collection! suck it down, shoddy NES version!

and i still have time and money for vacations, movies, other entertainment, putting money into my car, good food, etc.

Not sure if this ever occured to you, but for some of us videogames are a hobby and owning all the new stuff / or impressive stuff is part of the hobby, therefor spending that money on a game isn\'t so hard to imagine.

I find the money to go on trips every year, upgrade my PC whenever it needs it, add to my toy collection and generally have a great time with my GF.  Within the next month or so I\'m going to buy a HDTV and surround system.

I couldn\'t imagine spending money on expanding my garden or greenhouse.  Renovating or going river rafting.  IMO that\'s money wasted.

IYO it\'s not.  The difference is that I\'m not going to sit here and judge you and your preferences.  You like gardening--if that\'s your thing, that\'s great for you, but don\'t tell me I\'m foolish for spending my money on what I want.

If I spend 1k on video games a year what difference is that going to make to my income--it is a timy fraction of my income--and I\'m not rich by any means.  I can justify it because I enjoy it, and I want to play.

We don\'t buy this stuff to piss you off.  Don\'t be an ass.

I can\'t see it your way. There are to many other excellent things to do in your life then sit in front of a TV and play 4 + systems and PC games. I laready spend 5 - 20 hours a week playing 1 system, and haven\'t finished all the games I already bought, and I have absolutly no time to even think about squeezing in more.

I love to play a great game as well as the next. and I will fit in some free time to do so, but there is no way in hell I could possibly fit in and enjoy 4 systems and PC games without making huge sacrifices in other facets of my life.

so you can roll your eyes all ya want. I mentioned multiple times it was my opinion. That opinion will never change.

Videogames are great fun, but no matter what you say I can\'t see the justification in spending that much time money and effort playing them. Its a past time not a way of life, and as I have said 20 times by now there are some really cool other things to experience

Maybe you guy\'s idea of a life is sitting around with friends playing games as much as possible. Maybe thats what makes you hardcore.

I personally will just enjoy what I can and face the fact that I would rather spend time and money doing, again,  like I said above, a heluva alot of other things.

and I realy don\'t care what your guy\'s choices are, and believe it or not I don\'t look down on any of you for doing so. I really just can not see how or why anyone would do it. Especially buy a whole system for one game ????

Its just my opinion on the matter, that all
