I just found out that kuma can land his unblockable after ff+2 and it is guaranteed. Just hit ff+2 then keep 2 held and hit bf+3,bf+3. So far there is no known ecscape and it does around 80 percent damage.

Hmm... Kuma fans...
*resumes sticking little really sharp and long metal needles into his Kuma voodoo doll*

bf? BackForward? What the... ahhh, Salmon Hunter? Is it different when you input the command 2 times? Is this somesorta T4 trick? Bloody japanese gotta have their funny animals, bah.

Kuma in Tekken 4 *sigh*, didn\'t know it before this. Oookay, the game\'s status has gone from "mustbuy" to "considering it" again... well, not really, he\'s always been there and Tekken 3 and TTT ruled nevertheless

littleogre, did you find that out for yourself, or are you just getting that from other people.  Because it doesn\'t sound very likely.  That combo was impossible to do in previous Tekkens, and now that the gravity is even heavier in Tekken 4, I would assume that it would be more impossible.

If that combo really does work, I hope they fix it for the PS2 version.

I remember that it (the combo this thread is all about) was possible to avoid the Salmon(ella) Hunter hit by tech rolling back in TTT, and tech rolling and blocking low in T3... or then my timing was way off. So it\'s not a real combo, and isn\'t too useful when playing someone who knows their stuff (moderately useful when playing against the AI when it\'s set to "I\'m a kid, please don\'t hit me oh mr. computer opponent") And I\'ll be damned if this is in TTT too, there are roofs on the levels!

Yeah, and I deviced a juggle for True Ogre that takes about 130 points of health, assuming the opponent wont roll out of the float. And one for Jin that takes about the same amount! Whoo! Up yours Kuma!

And that 2 × BF+3 thing still makes me wonder... is there any sense to this at all? Am I only dreaming? Why is there a pink, fluffy creature with a big yellow beak staring at me from behind my monitor? I might be a bit tired now, damn Douglas Adams and his amazingly captivating books!

Oh yeah, Lei and Yoshimitsu rule, period.

Yeah hes Big Slow and VERY DUMB !

FFS hes ALMOST as bad to controll as GUN JACK .

but on the Other Hand with Eddy you can string together Combos and his moves are far more Fluid than the other fighters.

P.S.

My FAV TAG team is
Eddy and Nina i prefer the faster fighters over the slow powerful ones.

I went to the TekkenZaibatsu forums today, and boy they are mad!  A lot of people are getting tired of Tekken and want to move onto something else because Tekken 4 has so many problems.  And I agree with them.  I\'m still getting T4 when it comes out, but I\'m looking forward playing VF4 a lot more.  Hopefully Tekken 5 will be less rushed and more innovative.

I\'ve not grown tired of Tekken 3 or TTT yet, they still rule and will continue to do so a long time from now. Tekken 4 I\'ve tried a few times, and it doesn\'t feel like Tekken anymore, maybe they tried to change it too much... I\'m more eager to get VF4 too now. What I really want, though, is SoulCalibur 2! Yummeeh!

Until you play a really skilled character with Kuma you have no idea how powerful he is.  His poking and strong mid hits that ground you require lots of experience and patience to learn.  But it surprises the heck out of the avg Tekken player to have your butt beaten by the bear.  Bryan & Julia are good choices when you\'re fighting Kuma/Panda.

bf+2+3 is that swinging arm that hits low.  You could get out of that in previous Tekkens after a ff+2 by tech rolling but I haven\'t tried it out yet in T4.  I\'ll see if this works on Monday.

As for TTT vs T4, my college has both on big cabinets and excellent sticks, but for some reason everyone stays on the TTT machine.  Maybe that\'s because we have a "secret" way to get free credits on that machine.  I dunno. ;)  I prefer T4 myself, but since all the comp is on TTT I stay on that machine.

i think kuma is a very bad player, yeah he may be strong, but he is soooo slow, and you can see his attacks ages before they happen, hes a lot like jack, but jack is now a lot faster, and better than he used to be!!!!
