Cause Sony said before the launch of GTA3 -

"This game is absoultely groundbreaking and we are proud to have a game of it\'s calibre on the PS2, it will do very very well and along with State Of Emergency in 2002, we can exclusively reveal that Rockstar will be working with us till GTA5 plus add ons of course...and maybe beyond should they have the energy and passion to carry on working with Sony"

Just like the rumor that little Billy Gates was gonna jealously buy up th complete Final Fantasy, GT, Tekken, Metal Gear Solid licenses cause he\'s rich!

Yeah GTA3 is coming to Xbox but they are with sony for a while...

The only crossover so far is Resident Evil to Nintendo\'s Gamecube

Rockstar would burn their own fingers if they snibbed the PS2 after the success of GTA3.

Also having a User base of 30million world wide wouldn\'t go a miss when they come to sell GTA4 and State of emergency .

How big do you think the xbox userbase would become if MS did buy Rockstar and Take Two?  They\'d have almost every American gamer that\'s for sure.

Well, I\'m certain that the Xbox will get a boost in sales if the bought Take Two. Bringing the GTA series as an exclusive. However, I don\'t see it as a huge boon considering that other then GTA series and the soon State of Emergency, what else does Take Two have that will be worth a damn for the Xbox if they were bought by MS?

And if the other rumours are true that Sony got the GTA series to be exclusive for 4 years.. Well it would not matter.

take two own dma they bought them in 1997 from infogrammes for $1 million but they had a debt of $13 million so the total was $14 million but i doubt that they will turn there back on sony because sony is a money maker for the developers

Ummm  you mean 20million world wide not 30. Which  still crushes every other console. But for the right price you never know who wouldn\'t sell there soul. I don\'t doubt Bill buying them out.
