I\'m more curious on who the "very respected" developer is (I\'d imagine Capcom if not anyone else), but after these initial Japanese sales, I guess we will all have to "wait and see" just like with E3... ECTS... TGS... etc etc etc

but microsoft, along with all companies, have been known to do this in the past.. im just as skeptical if someone said this about a PS2 game.  at last years E3 a sony representative mentioned that one of their forth coming unnanounced platform games was graphically looking far better than J&D and indeed anything else being shown at E3.. while i was optimistic upon hearing it.. i really dont believe it    maybe you all should take this news with a grain of salt and a nice big dildo to satisfy yourselves until we hear more

but, my friend, if the sales arent there, then developers won\'t be either..

maybe if they thought the sales could have been good (pre-launch) but if XBox keeps performing poorly in Japan then its going to be a rare or stupid developer thats going to say;

"Hey.. lets go support that console that is selling worse than the PS2.. has a much small user base than the PS2 and the games arent selling very well at all... maybe we can make some of the real money"
