If you sift through the garbage post about Xbox, you\'ll only find 1 or 2 legit complaints on the system, like on any system.  It does get frustrating that intelligent debates can\'t go on because some jack ass decides to post "Halo only has 30 fps" or some lamer comment like that, but they are not worth your time.  

As it stands right now, PS2 fans don\'t have much to talk about so they look to the competition and criticize.  It\'s human nature...

Good Christ man, I guess you\'re right. Things were so much better when we were flooded by anti-PS2 trolls and were all united in our effort to prove that the PS2 wasn\'t as bad as the media and gaming sites were claiming it was. After all the crap that\'s been thrown this way by Zelots and Trolls, I think we deserve to blow off a little steam.

I doubt many people here really "hate" other systems just because of the name.. we\'re just giving what\'s come due. Leave for a bit until this phase fizzles out like a bad fart and then come back if you want to. We\'re all gamers here, and most of the members here own and enjoy as many systems as they can afford. Or should we REALLY make another "what consoles do you own" thread just to prove the obvious once again?

Take it from a guy who dosen\'t even OWN a PS2 yet, ( )... we\'re not as closeminded as we appear some times. I just would have thought you\'d known that by now....

The reason i said you had a problem why me was because, no matter what i posted, you always seemed to reply as if you were trying to start an arguement.

Also the reason i like Rallisport and JSRF is because for ME they are just pure fun, and that is what i really look for in a game at the moment, but that is just my opionion, and if you don\'t like that then that is fine, but start telling me what i should and shouldn\'t think is good.

But i will always be a DC FAN mm no matter what, so i guess we both have one thing in common. Poor little guy, it still sits proud next to my PS2 and Xbox, and it always will:D

I think you will find Fastson that here in the UK the PS2 was 299 pounds, and guess what the Xbox is 299 pounds here too!!

Here in sweden the PS2 launched at 4500SEK while the Xbox is 5000SEK. PS2 games are around 550SEK while Xbox games are 600-700SEK.

Nintendo games have always sold better then Sega games..
Sega has only had one million seller, VF. And Sonic (Cause it was bundled with the system)

PSO offline mode, which granted wasn\'t that great but PSO online mode was a hit for SegaNet and really brought online gaming for consoles to the forefront and has yet to be equally matched and won\'t be until FFXI and even then its questionable.

Sonic was not bundled with the DC for the record. The DC was sold at $200 price tag and Sonic Adventure was sold seperate. The only time Sonic was bundled in , was with the Genesis and even then that wasn\'t the original launch package (which was actually Altered Beast). Point? The DC broke records on launch date and kept selling good until Sony started to hype the PS2 up which was a gurantee\'d success due to the mainstream success of the Psone. Sega just couldn\'t keep taking losses (which they was with every DC sold) and contend with Sony\'s media blitz and eventual launch.

Oh and one more thing. You said Sega didn\'t have their big franchises on the DC...Well, they did. They had VF3, Sonic, Daytona USA, a port of Virtua Cop 2, PS and then they went and made new franchises such as Jet Set Radio, Craxy Taxi and of course Shenmue.

Sonic was not bundled with the DC for the record.

the fact is, sega has only had one million seller, virtua figher.
Nintendo has had countless million sellers, hence, they are still alive (along with the gameboy of course)

BTW, the Xbox costs the same here as PS2 did when it launched. A stupid price, but PS2 sold at launch anyway so Xbox might as well.
