Well, I think you could find a reason or two because it is all a matter of choice. I do agree though if someone asked me which system would give them more bang for the buck I will tell them a PS2, but that can change.

I would say forget about the MS logo and try to look at the games impartially.

But HALO is a FPS shotter and i am pretty sick of them.
And if you really want HALO why not wait for the PC version??

Well Halo isn\'t just another shooter, and your reasoning is faulty anyway--typical around here.

An xbox only owner could say:

Why don\'t I just wait and get an improved MGS and GTA3 for xbox and  FF for my PC.

But of course people around here don\'t use the same logic with the xbox that they use with their beloved PS2s.

We all new that it was a long shot for xbox to do well in japan. Do we  need a new thread to tell us this? Everyone has been saying for months it going to be hard for xbox outside of usa. So there is no surprise. We all new this.  Thus this was a total waste of a thread.

Then your whole argument towards xbox is pointless. Sony was out longer and it has the developers backing it. Surely if you want to talk about which console is best. If xbox and ps2 had all the same games surely xbox would win pound for pound.

Xbox is not a bad system it just does not have all the games ps2 has yet. The system is not bad it just does not have the library yet. I mean it\'s not hard to understand. You can\'t say it\'s not a good console. Because it has the best architecture. Just not all the best games. Which is a developer issue.

Well frankly MS has lots of devs backing them so they are fine in that dept but most of these devs are new to console gaming and it will take sometime before they can start breaking out the power of the xbox

the xbox only prob with devs is in the japanese dept which is where it needs to most support - not so much to survive but to give gamers want they want and thats great games from experienced developers


so its only a matter of time before you know it xbox has the potential to release great games too - PS2 had its gap in btwn launch and games
