But very cool.  Shot down a missle 4800 miles away in 9 minutes.  Sweet.

this System is useless against anything other than a ICBM !

what would happen if they smuggle it in to the US and blow it up while its parked i a car only Yards away From the White House !

Yeah.. Here in Vegas I saw the rocket launched in the sky... Left a crap load of smoke in the air... Looked really cool.

Although it sounds good, and very impressive, I gotta agree with ooseven.  We aren\'t gonna be attacked by an ICBM.  No one is that crazy.  With an ICBM, we would be able to tell where it came from, and retaliate with ten times more force.  If we were to ever be attacked by any nuclear divice, it would be smuggled in.  No one is that stupid.

Also, I agree that this could cause a whole new type of arms race.  If other countries develope a similar system, do you not think that we\'d try to build a new type of nuke to get around them?

Yup its just an excusee "a Poor one in that" to Waste more of your Tax payers money on yeat another HALF@SSED proJect

Thank God i Don\'t live in the US ... i would hate to think that my tax money is being wasted by Ye olde Village Idiot in the Big White HOUSE !

Who knows guys. No one would have ever thought we would get hit by hijacked airplanes... These people really don\'t care how they attack us, by smuggling arms, by missles fired, they don\'t give a damn, as long as we are DEAD.

Why would it be the end of your country?  Build your own damn missile shield.  Why does the US have to protect the freaking world.  I don\'t give a rats ass.  If it keeps people in the US safer, then that is all the counts.

Obviously it won\'t protect us from terrorists, but it does drastically drop the options of countries going to war against us.  We are showing that our military is determined to protect our country.  If a country tries to invades the US the only way the will be able to do it is terrorist means.

Lol ooseven, I understand what you mean... but it\'s like saying "damn, now the US won\'t be attacked first! Now we\'ll get it instead". Doesn\'t seem fair either way does it... ;)

I think that NATO should build and share these kind of defense systems together. If one NATO country is attacked ALL the other NATO countries are affected. Who wants to loose their own allies? We should protect and help eachother against possible attackers instead.

Btw.. I read the US was making a plan on how to launch nukes at China, Russia, Iraq, North Korea, Iran, Libya and Syria.. (if the US was to be attacked)

Does he seriously expect any of these other countries to nuke the US? He pours all of this taxpayer money that could be going into anything else that could be, you know, helping the country, and puts it in something that, quite frankly, we will NEVER USE.

I could go on and on about this Republican Dumb**** more, but just talking about what this guy has done with this just pisses me off even more...god.
