Sega was already in a spiral with Saturn and a crumbling user fanbase. Microsoft is fresh in the home console biz... How can we call it the biggest disappointment of the 21st century when its only been out for half a year? If we are talking about the games on it, then let us not forget the horrendous titles in the PS2\'s first 6 months (probably minus, SSX and Timesplitters)?

I don\'t own an X-box, but aren\'t some of us being a bit biased here?

No, I\'m not insinuating that the Japanese are racist against Americans, but I do know that Xbox will never make a major impact in Japan, no matter what.  The Japanese will never let an American console penetrate their market.  We\'ve tried time and time again and failed.

Yes, American companies have tried to penetrate the Japanese market many times and have failed.  It\'s no secret that the Japanese are loyal to their own.

oh i thought you meant american gaming companies have tried

perhaps it not the people, but the 92527959% tarriff that the japanese govt smacks down on any imported US product

Nope!   I believed to Sony a lot...maybe too much...that\'s the problem...I always thought it should be been a successful console...even if,right now,I\'m not satisfied with PS2...but you know...it\'s another story...
...but months and months ago a lot of Sega fans called PS2 a BIG disappointment...and now some PS2 fans are doing the same with the XBox...

XBox will finish 3rd ?  naah...wait and see...don\'t be so rash;) !
