Heh, in a market with as much potential as interactive entertainment, MS is going to put their 37.something BILLION dollar cash reserve to good use. They\'ll also be leveraging this "on-line" thing to put further pressure on the competition.

Well to be honest I haven\'t played anything for a while. I\'ve been too busy with my car and work. Also, there\'s something missing from the games we play now.  Can\'t put my finger on it.

I feel exactly the same way!!...what could it be? Gameplay? Lack of real original titles...or are most of us just growing up?  I doubt the latter one though.

I still act like a 12 year old so I don\'t think it\'s getting older.

Now and then a game comes along and I can\'t put down the controller. Then wham, none of my systems get turned on for weeks at a time.

Its been along held misconception that games r just for kids. Sure there are games 4 kids out there, but really, when u look at the target audiences of the Xbox and PS2, they\'re not that young. Anyhoo, if you\'re not getting too much satisfaction out of your console, get a PC and buy JediKnight2 and then look forward to WarCraft3.

Christmas is gonna = $$ this year for all three.

Well, except maybe Microsoft since they\'re losing so much on each one now.

yes.. lets all watch MS scramble its way into a market using BILLIONS of dollars.. and then see how their shareholders react to it all  

anyhoo, yes this\'ll be interesting to see if Nintendo want to keep their price edge..

Yes, I agree with you.  My previous statement was just (latter) was just a joke:) .  The reason most of us are not kids is because of the cost involved for the consoles and games.  Our parents used to s**t themselves if they had to buy us a NES (or games for it)

One thing that has definitly changed is the way people look at you if you are a gamer.  In the old days most people (parents, most woman, tough guys, etc.) looked down at you...in those days you were a nerd.

These days you are cool if you have a console:D
