I doubt you\'ve seen the tech demos of Zelda in 3-D polygon or whatever not cell-shade

That video wasn\'t even in-game. It was just a FMV. And pretty irrelevant considering its not even an actual game.

That demo showed two people on screen in a confined room, this game is much MUCH bigger than that with lighting that needs to be seen in motion to be believed.

Smooth running? Doesnt look like it will take much to give graphics like that a high frame rate...

Do you have ANY clue at all as to what it takes for a cel shaded game to be run on a console?  Miyamoto and MANY other companies making cel shaded games say that the strain on the graphics are just as imposing as polygons are, it\'s just with this, it\'s FAR less obvious.  Do not state something you believe as something as fact.  All because something looks so simple to do doesn\'t mean you can do it.  Just try animating a Disney film on your own and tell me how easy it is in comparison to filiming a Hollywood film.

It usually takes Disney two years minimum to fully animate a film and a big Hollywood producer (like George Lucas) two years in post production to render all the scenes for Episode II.  All because something looks easier doesn\'t mean that it is.

Why do you all think the graphics even matter that much?  It\'s the gameplay that makes it worth while.  As long as the new graphics style doesn\'t completely kill the Zelda feel, the game should be great.

That\'s not close to my worst nightmare.  Mine would be FF with bad gameplay.

I think it looks awful.  I hate the look, just hate it.  It might be fun, be there are lots of fun games, I don\'t want a game for the kid in me, I want a game for the 26 year old that I am.

I\'ve grown up, Nintendo hasn\'t.  That\'s fine, my nephew will love it.

Mario looks better, but resembles Mario64 (not graphically)--which is to say it\'ll be fun.  But Zelda....ugh.

I dunno.. personally I\'m starting to like the cel-shaded look more than the OOT-esque art style.

Zelda was treading too close to fantasy games like Morrowind. Now the closest comparison is the television show Samurai Jack.. and possibly Jet Set Radio Future. Zelda for GameCube is in a league of its own graphically.

Well, it seems the look is one of those love or hate things.
And I hate it . I think it looks disgusting.
