Pizza guy, take it from someone who is a New Yorker, and thus unbiased: Wrigley Field is a great park. I hope they never change it.
And by the way Pizza Guy, I was born in Cincinnati, so I kinda know what I\'m talking about here: The Reds fields, past and present, aren\'t as good as Wrigley.
As for the Cubs, they sure as hell have a good team, and I do not think it will be long before they make a move at the NL Central crown. Just look at the team for a moment. Their pitching is great. We all know about Wood. Lieber is a very strong pitcher, not to mention the best on the staff last year. Prior is the most promising pitching prospect, not just right now, but possibly ever. They have been dealing with a lot of bull pen related injuries, but when Gordon gets back, the team will basically have two closers. Either one will be great as a setup man.
Their hitting is what has let them down, but I think they have a promising future here too. Alou will not keep struggling as he has been. McGriff is decent, and as Luke said, they have another 1b on the way. Patterson is a promising young player from what I\'ve seen in him. Hill has looked good as well. Then you have Sosa. If this club ever starts hitting well, which they haven\'t been doing so far, watch out.
