i know it!

i had to take my ex-girlfriend to get hers taken out. it was the greatest thing ever.

same as jar, i was watching this 90 pound asian girl stumble into the displays at blockbuster, knocking over dolls, and then she finally decided she wanted to see "dumbo"

HAHAHAHA!

then we came home and i played video games while she went on and on about space and how we need to go there more often.

man that was a great day

of course i took a couple vicodins too.

Good luck with the surgury, I hope it goes well.

I\'m just posting because I wanted to point out something else.  I\'ll bet you are from Canada or the United Kingdom, or some other commonwealth country, right?  I can tell because you wrote "I\'ve got to got into hospital."  People from those countries always leave out the article with the word Hospital.  Instead of saying "I\'m going into the[/i] Hospital," they say "I\'m going into Hospital."  It doesn\'t make sense to me.

I\'ve spent lots of time in Canada, and I\'ve spent a little time in the UK, and I\'ve watched lots British television and movies, and don\'t tell me it\'s my imagination.  It\'s a pattern.  If you don\'t notice it, that\'s because you\'re too close to it.

I can tell the difference between saying "the" and not saying it.  Im here 24/7 and around these people every day and i can assure you that we say "the"! So unless you hang around a bunch of inbred hicks and watch hillbilly movies i think you are incorrect.

Oh man, there\'s no point in arguing about this dude.  I just have to remind myself that one day later in life you\'ll suddenly realize that everything I said is true, and you\'ll say to yourself "by god, Coredweller was right!"  :) :)

I know what I heard when I was in Ontario, and it was not spoken by any hick.  I heard this on the CBC, so it\'s supposed to be considered "intellectual-speak."  Maybe in Canada you\'re the hick.  ????  Actually I don\'t think so because it\'s correct to use an article with the noun "hospital."  Omitting the article sounds way too snooty.

**** man dont shove this bs down my throat, I know we have argued about "aboot" and "about" and i understand why i miss the fact that we say it different because its a "sound" of the word.  BUT I CANT MISS HEARING A WHOLE ****ING WORD IN A SENTENCE.  I dont care if we even say "the" differently i know we say it infront of nouns.  I\'m going to the store.  Im going to the hockey game.  I\'m going to pick my mom up from the hospital.  And trust me i have to say that last one a lot as my mom works at the hospital......so does my grandma, Im around the hospital a lot.  I hear people talk about it a lot, and i can disciphere missing or added words in a sentence.

Im sorry if i sound pissed off but i am.....I cant stand ignorance.

Getting wisdom teeth out ain\'t THAT bad.. I had 3 out at one time.. Your whole face hurts after the numbness dies down, but most of the pain should be gone overnight. All you gotta deal with is trying to find something to eat and the yummy taste of blood.

Hey be cool man, it\'s all in good fun.  I\'m not making this up, and I am serious about it, but I still find it funny.  I\'ll take your word for it that people in your town or province or whatever always use "the" with the word "hospital."  I know what I heard though.  It\'s only with the word hospital that people omit the article.  Not those other ones you said like hockey game and store.  I\'ll see if I can find some proof for you.  Czech you later.

OK check out these links:

http://www.xrefer.com/entry/440910
[hit F and search for the word hospital, and you\'ll see the reference]

http://www.bg-map.com/us-uk.html
[hit F and search for the word hospital, and you\'ll see the reference]

http://www.uta.fi/FAST/US1/REF/usgbintr.html
[hit F and search for the word hospital, and you\'ll see the reference]

These are all references to the omission of "the" in British English, not Canadian.  Therefore I\'m willing to concede that maybe the practice is not prevalent in Canada in general.  However, I know I heard it on the CBC, so maybe they were trying to emulate the English they considered to be the best, and distance themselves from United States english.  That wouldn\'t surprise me from the CBC.  :)

ok i see what your saying, but it may be cos we think of it as a hospita, rather than the hospital.. maybe that what it is
