well technically everone has an accent.  Just like Italians and the english sound different to americans, you sound different to them.

You probably didn\'t miss anything, nevermind.  I just thought you were the one who claimed everyone had an accent, and Vid was the one opposing you.  Nevermind.

Btw, why does everyone abbreviate my name as "Cored?"  I don\'t get it.   If you think of it as two words, it\'s CORE-DWELLER, which should be abbreviated Core , I think.   Just wondering.  I think when I get my avatar, I\'m going to ask MM to change my name anyway.  I don\'t use this on any other forums.

No, because they both have accents.  But when they talk to me or anyone else who has no accent they realize how funny they sound.  Actually the english accent is pretty cool.  As long as it\'s not harsh.  I like the South African the most.

man this is gonna be that other accent thread all over again......


when I talk to another canadian and they supposedly say "aboot" i do not notice it, because I am canadian and am used to it i guess.  When i talk to americans(And i have a lot), I do not all of the sudden realize i am saying "about" "aboot" i contiue to say it "aboot".  Just like if you were talking to an english person.  They would not suddenly realize they have an accent, they would continue to talk the way they always have, and so would you.  Americans do have accents, everyone does, that include you Vid:)
