I\'m going into hospital!

yeah, thats right, I\'ve got to got into hospital on Friday to have a swollen tonsil removed. I have got to check in at 7:30 am!!!

Once it is removed I have to wait for biopsy results to make sure it isn\'t cancerous!

I am not looking forward to the pain afterwards, the only good thing is that the doctor has said I will need 2 weeks off work to recover. Plenty of time to play Final Fantasy X I suppose.

damn ma thats bad. i should get my tonsils removed, as i used to get sore throats a lot....... but beer has numbed all the pain..

Just be glad you aren\'t getting your wisdom teeth taken out, that hurts like a ***** later that day.  Plus your cheeks swell up like a chipmunk heh.

If you are fully matured getting your tonsils out hurts way more.  People just dont think that because  the tonsils are usually removed early in life if they are removed at all.

It was probably bad for me because I had other teeth taken out too and they were bleeding all that night and the next morning.  I had my tonsils out about 10 years ago and it wasn\'t bad, but you\'re probably right about being older hurts more.

Oh and uh the doctors or whatever didn\'t give me vicatin, that kinda sucks....

Great, just great. The dentist said i\'ll probably have to get my wisdom teeth pulled eventually. Arr. Oh well, lots of ice cream for me.
