Ok how do you guyz turn off your playstation after playing???

i mean do you just eject the disk and shut it down, cuz to me that doesnt sound like a bright idea. but i dont know how to do it "properly".

I think its in the manual.....(go figure)

But i believe the proper thing to do is remove the disk, close the disk tray and hold the reset button to put it into stand-by.  If you dont plan on using it for a while then turn it of from the back(while its in stand-by)

My process simply goes like this, I\'m done with my game, I put it on standby... then I go back to it.

Have never had a problem w/ my PS2

I leave mine on standby at all times too.  In fact, my PS2 has only been turned off by the switch in the back one time to my knowledge, and that was because I moved...I bought mine on launch day, and have had no problems whatsoever.

I just don\'t get the point of stand by. Why not just turn the thing off? True, very little electricity is used, but you\'ll be saving energy none the less.
