I can respect anyone I want and I have no clue why you would ever think Australia is our greatest ally.  What in the world have you done for us lately?  Oh yeah, you sent over a couple cases of water to help refresh our troops.

I don\'t think there is any doubt that England is our greatest ally.

We\'re pretty diverse here in AZ. The big 3 seem to be anglo, hispanic, and african-american, in that order. Of course there are asians around and I have neighbors who are of obvious middle eastern backgrounds.

Well here in canada we got it all.  I dont know about other cities in canada as diversity differs from city to city but in my city everything is ok except for the view of Natives.

The biggest race in our city are natives.  Indians as some others might know them as.  They have the worst rep in our city as low life alcoholics and im not gonna lie, a large percent of the poplulation are.  But the greater of them deserve our respect.  They arent getting it tho, I often find myself in the middle of making fun of them at school with my friends.....not directly tho.  Its just that I have never talked or ran into a decent one, I dont wanna sound racist, even tho I am sometimes.  I know decent ones exist in our city i have just never met any of them.

I live in a mixed race town so we respect everyone. In every part of the world, we should set aside our skin color and ethnic background and just live in harmony.

Well I use to live in San Francisco and it was fairly diversified. Then I moved to Millbrae and there was barely any black folks there. Then I moved over to Newark and now Im surrounded by Hindi and Fiji people. I guess each place varies in race and stuff. Go Figure. :rolleyes:

Ok, were i live the Mexicans and white people don\'t get along that well. But Hispanics and white people get along fine most of the time. Yeah, I\'ve described the Mexicans in the Immigrant topic. They think they\'re above us white people, and for that, we don\'t like each other.

Well I gotta agree with Kimahri as I too live in Canada. I believe that most races (and we do have alot here in Canada) are treated fairly and with respect. Natives are by far ridiculed the most for much the same reasons as stated before.

I think Canada is pretty good for different cultures being accepted and welcomed.

I live in Ohio and I don\'t think race is a problem.  

The only thing I notice is that in my high school blacks tend to remove themselves from the white groups.  Like in our lunchroom there is a corner that is only blacks.  While the rest is mostly whites.  Racism isn\'t an issue, it\'s just how the blacks want it.

Boston is nowhere near as bad as it was even 15 years ago. Still, me being a black male, there are some places that I hesitate to go. *cough*SOUTHIE*cough* Whether its justified or not I just don\'t feel comfortable in some parts of South and East Boston.

Boston is considered by many to be a very racist city and, to an extent, it is.

The past 3+ years I have lived off and on in Atlanta and believe it or not Boston(the hub of the typically proactive Northeast) seems a lot more racist than ATL(the hub of the historically Klan-ridden south)

Hi, I live in the Netherlands. It used to be known as one of THE most tolerant countries of western Europe. But that ain\'t much
anymore since the government elections from a month and a half ago. At least, to the perception of other countries. So now we got this new right winged party here in our government who\'s "leader" Pim Fortuyn, got shot by an environmental activist.
Fortuyn became very popular. He wanted to stop immigrants and referred to Islamic ppl as a retarded culture. Anyway, native Dutch ppl (white) have shown their true faces now. After he got shot they voted massively for his party and now it\'s one of the three parties in the government. I live in the south of Holland and it\'s pretty mixed. Alot of Turkish ppl and ppl from Marocco live here. There\'s no serious tensions going on here, but I do notice some white ppl hating them. But the biggest mixed populations are in the west of the Netherlands. I myself, I\'m Asian in the Netherlands, adopted by Dutch native ppl when I was about 3 months old. So somehow I rarely met any serious racism towards myself. But I do think Dutch ppl shouldn\'t point fingers anymore at countries like Austria becuz of the right extremist Jorg Haider ; they loved Fortuyn themselves just as much.

I live in NYC and we have gangs of different races.  If something goes wrong we just gang up on others simply because of our race difference.

Some people don\'t get as many chance as others.  let say your going to an interview, the boss see you as so and so race, he will try not to hire you if he doesn\'t like your race.

Very rarely do you see respect from the street here.:rolleyes:
