Very rarely do you see respect from the street here.

I\'m from Queens, New York. There is racism here but, it\'s not a very big problem. Most people mind their business.

It\'s really how you act than where you are from.

Anyway, Queens is a very diverse borough. Chinese, Mexicans, Koreans, Columbians, Filipinos, White, Black, you name it.

Well i live in sterling heights MI...it is near detroit.  Now in dearborn which is another city close by, the majority of the city has a population of arabic people.  Since 9/11 i have heard of many hostile acts toward them.

Then there are my grand-parents and their older friends.  They use the n word like it was apart of everyday language.  I think it is teribble but what can ya do.

Just got back from NYC and have to say everyone there was acting a lot more polite than my previous visits.  Don\'t know if it has to do with 9/11 or not but it felt good to see thousands of people of every race you could think of getting along.

In the DC area I\'m sorry to say there is racism.  No big rivalries, it\'s just the races like to serperate themselves from others (esp the Asians) and there just isn\'t much interaction.

And as for US being racist towards Australia that\'s just not true.  You just probably have to get used to the way Americans act Racer, we\'re very individualistic and like to mind our own business most of the time.  Sometimes that can come off as arrogance.  I\'d say we\'re as racist towards Aussies as much as we are towards Brits, next to none at all.

Here in Indianapolis its not that big of a deal, everyone mixes very well, but if you go 30 miles South to were my parents live...thats another story.  The whites where my parents live are pretty racist towards blacks, mexicans, and asians.  Being racist has to be the dumbest thing I\'ve ever heard of.

When I lived in Miami, FL every race was all jumbled up, so there was a little bit of racism, but it wasn\'t too bad.  Just some parts of town were.

I can agree with that. Indy and surrounding indy is pretty decent from what I have seen. Just south of there is quite bad.

Here is Vegas, the races get along pretty well, although they do seperate themselves: Blacks, Whites, Mexicans and other Latinos, Asians. None of the groups are really "gangbangers" or whatever, beating up other races.
