Interesting read. One thing though, what\'s that crap about the X-Box only can handle 30Hz???!!!
I\'m quite sure this is incorrect. The Hz thing refers to the TV refresh rates...and it\'s 50Hz for PAL and 60Hz for NTSC.
Halo runs at 30fps..not 30Hz!!
Anyway, I\'m quite sure DOA3 runs at 60fps and I\'m quite sure there\'s a handful more X-Box games that can run at 60fps easily.
What a load of bull.
And for the 50% thingy....it\'s nothing more than a gimmick to get the fanboys excited. All programs runs at 100% of CPU speed(unless you put in a wait/sleep statement just to slow the thing down on every instruction cycle) and it depends how u optimize the code to make it runs faster...and nobody has an actual gauge meter to check how further they can go, it can be 50% or less than 1%.
Anyway, tech talk is old, it\'s the results that count. And as far as I\'m concerned, the X-Box produced visibly superior version(graphically) about 99% of the time on the same titles.
