I need some help with windows explorer

Where can I get kazaalite? Sounds like much less of a hassle than to delete spyware files every so often.

I was organizing my desktop and stopped to get a coke. When I came back to my computer, I noticed the arrow cursor turn into an hourglass then back to the arrow. I wondered what that was, as there were no pop-ups or anything. Then it hit me- my page just got changed! I checked and sure enough, it happened again! It hit me that I could have a virus, so I downloaded Digital Patrol and checked it out. My computer was clean, though. As of right now, I\'m going to download adaware and see where that gets me.

Okay. Ran adaware. It says that I have 31 suspicious components, 10 keys and 21 files. At the screen where it shows those things, how do I know if I should delete them or not?

Backup the items before you delete them.  There is a .dll or program or whatnot that is part of Kazaa, unless u have Kazaa lite.

All the registry keys are safe to delete.

Update- some of the bottom keys were labeled "Istarthere", so badda bing, badda boom, no more Istarthere. Turns out they had invaded my computer. Bastards. Anyway, thanks for the tip Rob. Worked like a charm.

You shouldn\'t mess with the stuff in the registry when using adaware though right?

That\'s the stuff you need to delete.  If you\'re ever in doubt you can backup the keys before you delete them.
