heh I knew that.

And I hate the game because every other friggin CS game I encounter in real life or not is a friggin idiot. I work with a CS freak, he thinks he knows everything because he must be a huge geek if he playes CS. The guy is an idiot that thinks the built in Gf2 MX in his nForce based motherboard can rival the latest and greatest GPU\'s.

I despise half of the gamers and the game it self.

finally got the game, now i got the tideous job of downloading Cs and the HL updates.
i bought  Half life: game of the year edition (i couldnt find anything newer and i got it pretty darn cheap about 20$). now all i\'ve to do is hope that it will work on Xp*crosses fingers*.

I\'ve had the entire Half Life box set for a year now and only play the single player games... I\'ve decided to install Counter Strike finally and it\'s so hard just to start a game... I get messages, "Computer is under a different protocal...yada..yada"

I guess I\'m so used to Age of Empires ease of playing online.


Here\'s the deal, how do I just start playing online?

i\'ve installed the update to HL and everythingand just finished downloading CS, but why does the game(HL) look so pixelated, i think something might be wrong, anyone got any insights on this.

thanks for the tip ben, when i went in to the configuration i found that i was running at 430x300:crap:, now ive changed it to 1024x 728 (not sure) and it looks much better.

Change your video settings to opengl.  That should fix everything.
