It doesn\'t have a PC architecture per se.. but it\'s remarkably close.

There are some things (like the unified memory that Xbox\'s parts use to great effect) that aren\'t found on th\' PC.

What? Just because it has a UMA, it\'s a non-PC architecture? Please... I am speaking of CPU, the GPU etc. Just because it has a UMA, no AGP doesn\'t mean it\'s not a PC architecture. Oh and then we have DirectX.. do I need to go on?

I\'m not arguing. I know the specs.. I know what\'s going on here.

It\'s got all of the workings of a PC architecture, but it\'s not your typical PC. It has differences. Not many though.

Okay, buddy?

Of course it\'s not your typical PC! But from a developers stand point, it is very much a PC. As I said, it might have a UMA, it might not have the typical northbridge bottlenecks, but from a developers point of view it is damnwell a PC. That\'s all I\'m saying and that\'s all that\'s relevant. And yes, it does hold back the Xbox and in the very same sense even the GameCube. The PS2 has a significant advantage thanks to its "non PC architecture". People don\'t believe me? Fine, I\'m not the crusader to defend it from fanboys. You\'ll see for yourself once Xbox and GameCube max out and PS2 is still there being optimized.

Oh and one more thing Blade, please don\'t take this personal as it isn\'t ment like that in anyway. I just get a little tired when members post things that they don\'t fully comprehent. Many things are not as they seem and I fortunately have a job to back me up with my knowledge. Nothing against you. I\'m here for one thing, and that\'s for debating. That\'s all.

EDIT: Blade, this post btw, wasn\'t directed to you in the first place anyway... just thought I\'d clear that up before you reply. ;)

I think Pstwo meant to ask..

Is he the one who always starts something and what is he suppose to do when someone "steps" on him.
I believe that is what he meant.
