And Bob, wouldn\'t that be funny if those vids we have been seeing t EB turned out to be from the PC or XBOX versions with a PS2 logo at the bottom...

no, as I previously stated, the videos I saw was the game playing at my local EB

So Bob, your saying that someone was actually playing it?

I know the video thats played at my local EB is the one thats on this months OPSM2. They have it looping (looks like they taped it to VHS).

It has the PS2 logo at the bottom of the screen. It certainly looks impressive, alot better then those old screens Stanzo posted, but it was still obvious that is was realtime.

Graphically the demo looks better than the Toca demo. better resolution and higher detailed environments.
I feel that this could be rather decent. i found some of the police chases quite amusing and the hectic racing
is excelent for this type of game, a really good blast imho. i love the slo-mo angles when you jump off of ramps and
when you get big air over crests. it plays very much like NFS High Stakes from the PC.
It\'s going to be a winner. i just think the overall package is going to be great.

Most demos are old. Remember Frontline? Buggy as hell.. Lots of framedrops, draw in, buggy animations, textures that flickered ect.

The Ratchet and Clank demo that was sent out to the press is also old.. There was a newer demo present at E3.

GT3 demo was old compared to what was available for the press at that time.

TOCA is probably a old demo too..

Im not holding my breath though. Ive looked at several videos from Codemasters site and the physics looks really weird.

Nothing comes close to Gran Turismo anyways :)

Yeah, but Fastson, the review in the latest opsm2 mag has got plenty of screenshots from the PS2 version
and they indeed look no better than the ones i posted earlier. i take it that they were taken from the finished game.
