Now onto the debate.. Give me a break Watch, there has been more great PS2 games this year than the XBox fans can even imagine

Like what? 0_o
So far I haven\'t seen anything on either system that\'s worth buying.

and as far as your comment about every game that has been multi-console and the Xbox version being the best...I point to..

Spyhunter is the only exception thus far...his point still stands.

Mark of Kri, Sky Gunner, Onimusha 2 and the list keeps goin\' on of great PS2 games. Spyhunter isn\'t the only exception, how about Madden? It lacks online play, the main feature for this years installment.   And even if you don\'t include Madden, his point does not still stand.

xbox has the best version of every multi-console game released this summer.

I pointed out that this comment was wrong. So, how can his comment still stand? It can\'t. He was wrong, plain and simple. Not every XBox version of a multi-console game has been the best this summer.

Mediocre, okay, and boring come to mind with those 3 games you just listed.  Same goes for any game released on any console this year.

As for the madden port, you\'re right.  That had slipped my mind.
Still, the Xbox has more enhanced third party games and the trend looks to continue.

Damnit, Ginko, quit being logical and avoiding my point! My point was that Watch stated that every multi-console game was better for the Xbox, when infact that simply isn\'t true. Thats what I was trying to point  out.

As for "mediocre, okay and boring". Bah. All three are great games, but then again, great games are personal taste. ;)

/me loves Ginko and hugs him, even though he called a Capcom game "boring".

From Jan.-Dec. 2002, the Xbox will have the best line up that it has ever done for it self. Games like Morrowind, RalliSport Challenge, Hunter: The Reckoning, Enclave, Jet Set Radio Future, Sega GT 2002, Quantum Redshift, Deathrow, Blinx, ToeJam & Earl III, Unreal Championship, Brute Force, Crimson Sea, Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, MechAssault, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shenmue II, Splinter Cell, Steel Battalion etc.

Now Xbox 2003 games, Strident, Duality, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Ninja Gaiden, Halo 2, B.C. DOOM III, Psychonauts, Tork, True Crime: Streets of L.A., Project Gotham Racing 2, Battlefield 1942, Project Ego, Yager etc.

Pstwo, first off, saying the Xbox is having its best time ever isn\'t saying a lot. It hasn\'t been out a  year yet for christ sake. And as for the Wreckless port, we are not arguring that the PS2 has bad ports. The point was just to point out that Watch was wrong.

I for one, believe all multi-console games are crap. Develop a game for one console and  take advantage of that one console.

Xbox will make 1 year Nov. 2002. It\'s not that far away right and did I say Xbox came out 1 year already? No, I said from Jan. 2002-Dec. 2002 Xbox games coming out.

Last time I\'m going to clarify this, because if you haven\'t got it already, I doubt you ever will.

I only was pointing out that Watch said every Xbox multi-console game out was better for the Xbox than other consoles. I pointed out that was not true. How frickin\' hard is that to understand? I swear, some people......

I have to agree with you LIC. The only difference for multiplatform games are the controls and that\'s it. No system has an advantage over the other. They just make it, change the controls for the two systems (which aren\'t that different) and put them on disks that could be read by the system. Nothing more, nothing less.

Good ole fashioned semantics-arguing.

Why the hell would you want to play Madden, anyways? It may have Online on PS2, but that doesn\'t stop it from being worse than 2K3 this year. Which has online on both, and more fun to play to boot!

Mark of Kri was repetitive garbage, Onimusha 2 is a rental (like the first), and Sky Gunner is stuttery garbage with even more garbagey controls. I am not going to make excuses for XBox\'s line up, alot of titles he listed are crap in my mind, too. But I have bought more XBox games in the past few months than I have PS2 games in nearly 2 years. It only makes sense to buy NFL2K3 on XBox, as well as waiting for The Thing for XBox on next week. I will continue to buy multi-console games on XBox that I give a damn about because of the ones that are truly interesting and more than half decent, the XBox gets the better version of the two. (I would say three, but half the time, they don\'t even make a GC version. :p)

That said, the only games I am still playing constantly on XBox (like every day or nearly every day) are Halo and NFL2K3.  The good releases start this month, though. My wallet = losing weight.

that\'s not completely true Titan.

Look at Spiderman, Splashdown, or Tony Hawk 3. At the very least, better graphics are present. Then you have things like custom soundtracks, new levels, etc. There are other games, too. but you get the point.

What else is there to play? The rest are just rentals, IMO.
