Munch is the only triple A game I can think of for the Xbox. There is other decent games, but none that truly shine, in my humble opinion. As for Pstwo\'s list of "Xbox Harcore" a lot of those haven\'t been released and it is in my opinion always in poor taste to list games that haven\'t been released and consider them AAA+ titles for any system. *shrugs*

My point does stand, Spy Hunter was released in March, and I said a superior version for every game this summer.  You want to argue semantics, well there you go.

Also, if you want, I\'ll expand, the xbox has the best version of 99%+ of every multiplaform title.  The games have sharper textures, better framerates and better sound.  Arguing otherwise is flat out blind fanboyism.

And those three games you listed: Kri, Gunner and Genma 2 are mediocre titles.  They are no better than Enclave, Buffy, World Series Baseball or Hunter.

I\'m not the one attacking PS2 here, I\'m merely defending the xbox.  You boys only pick on the xbox and if you actually had a shred of partiality in you, you\'d apply the same standards to your beloved PS2 and see that it\'s not all its cracked up to be either.

Ummm, I would say so.  

And there is a bit of variety available and lots more coming this fall.  Only the good games are going to stand out and be top sellers...Halo, Dead or Alive 3, Munch, Project Gotham, are top sellers for a reason.

after the dreamcast, i was shocked EA supported xbox at all

Online play is a coo for PS2, but it really isn\'t that great a multiplayer game.  It\'s all offence and going for it 4 downs straight every time because of the high percentage of completions.  

There are so many money plays in that damn game I feel like I\'m playing NHL 95 with all the dekes and "sure goal areas".  Okay, so it\'s a single player game, but that is ruined because of the 4th quarter computer cheat err comeback.  It\'s infuriating that EA is that lazy and that stupid--and don\'t get me started on the commentary.

NFL 2K2 isn\'t a perfect game, but the AI is better and you hardly ever get the triple cover completions that are so commonplace in Madden.

Stats are as close to realistic as I\'ve ever seen, and the game is better.

So even if online makes Madden a better game than the xbox counterpart, who cares?  2K2 PS2 is a better game and it\'s online too.  Everyone wins (except EA).

I enjoy playing games; I hate buying EA\'s crap year after year--their egos are larger than their devotion.  Sooner or later people are going to figure out that EA generally produces terrible, terrible games and that the only reason people buy them is because of the EA logo.  Sooner or later people will figure it out.

In the meantime, I won\'t sweat it that Madden 2003 isn\'t XBL enabled.

Again, I disagree with all that you have said. And Madden 2003 is NOTHING like Madden 2002. I can make the same statements towards NFLK series and Visual Concepts. I won\'t though, cause it\'s pure stupid to do so.

Every game has AI flaws. Your opinon on EA, is just that , your opinon. Just as I have my opinons on Visual Concepts and their games. Your opinions are based on previous expirences from what I can tell. And you\'re so far off on Madden 2003 it\'s humorous. I\'m sure you\'ll have a clever response to this, and thats fine by me. I\'m just tired of seeing you degrade EA\'s game when it\'s the best selling FB game there is.

If people are buying for just the EA logo, then I\'d say EA has a very good Art Department.

And NO I won\'t figure any of that BS you said out. Cause I don\'t see EA making "terrible" games, I see EA making great games. An I\'ll continue to purchace EA games as long as they are fun and entertaining to me If Vision Concepts can make a game that is as fun and entertaing for me as Madden is, I\'ll have no problem changing my game of choice. Till then, I\'m sold on EA and their pretty logo. :rolleyes:

Who said it was like 2002?  I played 2003, and you can\'t tell me that game isn\'t all about offense.  Scores get way too high, way too easily.  There are plays that work almost every time regardless of what the defense does.  You\'re blind if you argue that.

EA does a roster update, adds a new graphical effect and stamps the current year on the box and sells it as a new game.  I\'m not going to argue any further.  Check a couple other forums around, you find lots of people are complaining.  Oh, but wait, you\'d actually have to open you mind and want to see the truth, and everyone knows that isn\'t going to happen.

The truth is, ever since I made you look like a complete ass in a thread a couple months ago, you\'ve been grinding an axe.  Carry on, Kid, enjoy your Madden.  I don\'t care, and while you\'re at it, go masturbate to your old avartar.
