It looks pretty good graphically but there\'s something, which I can\'t really put my finger on, that makes it look kinda boring and unimpressive to me.

erhm, maybe graphically, but timesplitters was a great multiplayer game, and I doubt I will ever have more fun playing HALO,

I feel a bit like you... there\'s something that just looks bland to me - boring - if you will. On the other hand some of the effects look real good, so it\'s a bit odd.

indeed, halo is merely the best looking console FPS to date.

I have to agree that, MM, you\'re going to be dissapointed. Every thread you complain about the game, but at the same time show a hint of hope. It just seems that your distaste for the Xbox may very well carry over on some quality games (if, this indeed turns out to be one). Will you\'re distaste make you pick the game apart completely and walk away in disgust or will you swallow some of the pride, notice some of the flaws and still enjoy the game?

As much as I dislike my dust-box ...err Xbox, I can\'t help but be excited about a sequel a lot of us have dreamed about for the longest time, no matter what console it is on.

Seeing the game in motion vs. seeing screens are two totally differnt things for this game.

Impressions so far have praised the game, if anything it will be good.  Nothing to worry about.  I hope nobody here is expecting totally new gameplay and an experience unlike anything else they\'ve played.  If you are, just don\'t play it.

As for people bitching about the game being on rails...I better see the same people complaining about the new StarFox game.

And I don\'t expect anything different than the original two Panzer\'s and infact, I don\'t want anything different. I\'ve went back to the first one lately on my days off and I still find myself enjoying it just as much as when it came out years ago and I was playin\' it as a demo at Toy\'s \'r \'us Saturn kiosk (or I think thats where it was? ).

PC copy? Did I miss something? Was it on the PC and if so  - why would you play it on the PC?

not in FPS per say, but in overall game speed.  plus the graphics are a bit cleaner

I doubt it will contain any of those, mm. But I am sure you will find something else to bitch about. Every preview about this game has been very positive about the clarity and depth of graphics, great sound and orchaestration, tried and true gameplay (with new real-time morphing), etc.

Though, I heard the second boss\'s left tentacle has a tip that is almost noticeably blurry. Some say it may even affect gameplay!! Damn you XBox!

ummm, a few blurry textures and RAMPANT blurring (ex. rallisport)  are two different animals

im supposed to find something to bitch about (i do it will all games, mind you).  thats the point of being disgruntled

Play PD Saga and you\'ll forget about the shooter...

I can\'t believe you don\'t own a copy, Clip...
