I want to control Sephiroth.I want to use his masamune sword.Kill people.He is the coolest bad guy ever.Its a shame to appear only in FF7 for some parts.Such a great character wasted.

And Sephiroth not deep??? Come on Nu, he has so much history, and so much background to him, all that he (thinks he) is fighting to achieve. If you say Sephiroth isn\'t deep, you might as well say Cloud isn\'t deep. Calling them 2-D gives you the impression that he has just one day said "Well, This cereal SUCKS! I\'m taking over the world to create BETTER cereal!!" then you never hear from him again until the final boss fight (or something

). These characters have personality. Probably more so than most other RPG\'s (not all).

Unicron, in what possible way would there be to play as Sephiroth before Final Fantasy 7 without completely having holes in it\'s own plot, and also making new holes in FF7\'s plot??

I have gone over many ideas for a prequal, and the only possible time for one to occur would be during the great war. But then you couldn\'t play as Seph

I dont know they should find something.Perhaps he ressurrected from the life stream.Perhaps after his first confrontation with Cloud we get to see what happened to him and how he ended up being on that tree thing inside the materia.Perhaps we get to play as Sephiroth\'s spirit wandering in the spiritual world or the alternative world of the material....

btw:how could he commit kills and leave his masamune sword near his kills although he was inside the crater?(It was cool nonetheless and freaky.Added more death and mystery to him.Fear your enemy you dont know that the enemy u know).

They\'re all stupid ideas that wouldn\'t make sense/too far fetched/would disgrace Sephiroth etc. etc. etc.

Anyways, if there were to be a spinoff game of FF7, it would have to take place in the Great War. This way it wouldn\'t have to clash with the events and history of FF7, and could actually clarify a lot of things about FF7 that most people wouldn\'t know. Such as the fact that Jenova (responsible for the War in Wutai) was actually the main evil villain in FF7. But even then, it would be hard to write around FF7.
