And you honestly think he was what made it the best? No. It was Faulk, Holt, Bruce, and the O Line. He was in the right place at the right time, nothing more. And by your logic, Bulger is better than Warner. After all, the team was going no where at the start of the year with Warner, and are a high powered offense again with Bulger.
Defending Clowd - fun.
He\'s exactly right, Trent Green wasn\'t going to take them to the Super Bowl. The Right place at the right time? Somebody has to throw that football, and as of right now, Kurt Warner is officially the highest QB Rated QB of all time.
Trent Green wasn\'t going to throw that football, that\'s for damn sure. Warner had the weapons, sure, but so have other teams. Hell, look at the Vikings from the year before. Great offensive weapons, yet still lost in the NFC Title game at home to the Falcons.
Warner wasn\'t the reason that the Rams weren\'t going anywhere, Martz was. Ignorance and thickheadedness did Warner in at the begining of the year, and finally Martz is listening to his critics, and playing Faulk a lot more. Lo and behold, 3 straight wins, and they look like the Rams again.
Warner IS a great pocket passer, his accracy is uncanny in the National Football League. Uncanny.
