HoTD3 was gorgeous but hardly worth owning and HoD2 still owns it.

JSRF killed a possibly great franchise.

GunValkiyre -  *yawn*

Oh and let\'s not forget the trash known as Toe Jam and Earl...

As for PSO - port with a few bells and whistles.
Yeah..that\'s Sega\'s "best" stuff.

JSRF was perfection. And Gun Valkyrie is just oozing Sega niche hardcore never-gonna-get-recognized-for-its-brilliance-but-is-brilliant.. errr... -ness. You have no right to call yourself a Sega fan if you didn\'t *love* these 2 games.

Outside of Splinter Cell (maybe) JSRF is the best game this year. VF4 is shit compared to it, and Shinobi is in the same boat as GV, both in quality, and perception.

Jet Set is already a great franchise. And while we talk quality (not finances), all of Segas DC games count too, they are this gen, and count in any argument over Segas quality this gen.

Shenmue stinks...and it isn\'t gay. In fact, Shenmue 2 will most likely be last ShenMue game. I don\'t think it did well on Xbox either...all the F.R.E.E crap are pure hype. Heck, GTA3:VC is a F.R.E.E.er game than ShenMue wil ever be.

That aside, SEGA has only produced 1 good game so far on the PS2 - VF4. The rest are just plain crap.

Anyway, I won\'t be suprised if CAPCOM take over SEGA. SEGA has sold it\'s stake in CSK(previously SEGA\'s parent company) and CSK has mentioned that they will release their stock in SEGA "when the price is right". No doubt, SEGA will break free from CSK soon coz CSK has seen the light as they cannot lose anymore money in SEGA after all this years since the days of the Saturn.

It would be the most likely of all, in my opinion. Espically when you consider how buddy buddy Capcom and Nintendo have been as of late. However, I still don\'t even take that rumor with much thought.
