French boycott
« on: March 24, 2003, 06:21:25 PM »
I got this in my email and thought I\'d like to share it with you. But one thing\'s for sure, I won\'t give up my Car and Driver :) The only thing that I\'m sure is false is that Chirac is secretly giving Iraq weapons. If anyone can prove its true, please post it.

Quote
Subject: Boycott France

NewsMax.com is leading the Boycott France campaign because American lives
and security is at stake.
France has every right to disagree with America. But France has moved from
simple dissent to active hostility toward America.
French President Chirac warned East European nations that if they side with
America, France will oppose their membership in the European Union.
This week, William Safire reported in the New York Times that France has
been secretly helping to arm Iraq-and has been helping Iraq build long range
missiles. These same missiles may soon be used against American soldiers.
Just as France is exercising its right to disagree, Americans can exercise
their right to boycott-and avoid helping companies and countries that do no
stand with America.

Its true France is selling weapons to Iraq...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Hey now. Let\'s not forget that France aided US in getting their freedom back in the day.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Just because they didnt want to help us, AS OF ****ING RIGHT NOW? You want to bomb them. I think your just trying to get a good laugh out of something serious. They are going to help is if Saddam uses nuclear/biological weapons.

I think its sad how pacifist actions are laughed at.

They don\'t have biological/chemical weapons, so how could they possibly use them?

I dunno if you were asking a serious question or not, but the last war that Cananda helped supply troops for was the Korean war.
It was a darkness all my own, a song played on the radio, It went straight to my heart - I carried it with me - until the darkness was gone.

We were also in WW2 !

by the way , Canada are not helping in Irak but we have boats around and we are covering in middle east and Afganistan ! Actualy i was listening to the news and we are actualy helping more the US by doing that then most country\'s that wanted the invasion and that they don\'t help at all ! ( the 42 country list of allies in Irak subject ) Example :Spain wich have no Soldiers in middle east and Canada does ( it was also an US politicien that said the we were indirectly helping

Canada just said that we would not get involved without the UN approval and now USA hates us bad ... ah well
