How can you say \'Punch Drunk Love\' was boring? It was one of the most inventive love / comedy flicks in recent time. -shrugs-

I do believe almost all the original cast will return.

You\'re restoring my confidence in you, LIC!  Punch Drunk Love is definitely a film that some people will "get" and others will not.  It is not a mass market product in any way, and I like that.

This is just for mm:

Im guessing you think, in denial, that if you dont like the movie- no one should. Honestly If I could meet you in real life, I\'d bust out a cheese grater and grind it against your face.

Get a ****ing life; then learn to enjoy it. Everything doesnt have to be God damn perfect to be enjoyable.

Oh yeah: I thought the first RE was really good until that fake-ass monster :D. Ill see this though

Kelly Hu as Ada Wong

Allison Hannigan as Rebecca

WOOOOO!!!
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

If the sole reason to see RE (M.J.) is not in the sequel, then I\'m not interested.

take yer 8$ that you made for 5 hours of work at macdonalds and go to the local independant theatre.  you\'ll thank me for it

28 days later is 100x better than resident evil, anyways

I dont work at a mass-production garbage food line- and we dont have an Independent theatre locally. i have seen some independent films, and found them decent. The filming technique in some totally throws me off.

ahhh, so your a charelton heston fan? good.

i would say 28 days later borrowed more ideas from Romero\'s Day of the Dead (1985)

the "zombies" were cognizant in Omega Man.  true they suffered from a virus in both films, BUT the "zombies" in Omega man weren\'t flesh eaters.  they were fully functioning people that thought they were in the right way of things, and that the uneffected were deseased

both 28 days later and day of the dead featured the military influence (omega man didnt), and they both had a "pet" zombie that they kept for study.

i could go on with similarities between the two, but alas....im bored already

filming technique?  i\'ll leave that one alone

you want a good "end of the world" type film?
here, a NZ one at that

oh, and :rolleyes::rolleyes:

28 days was good.... it was better then Resident Evil.... Resident evil was an action film, 28 days later had a bunch of other themes besides just action, in my opinion.
It was a darkness all my own, a song played on the radio, It went straight to my heart - I carried it with me - until the darkness was gone.

Day of the Dead.....I liked that one. I was shaking during that movie coz of my childhood nightmare from the very first Night of the Living Dead.

Oh....and I do believe the theme to this thread is : Opinions are like ass holes. Everyone has one. :)

Fan? Planet of the apes (origional) was the first movie I\'ve seen that I wanted to watch it a second time, and a third, and a fourth, and a fifth.

but in 28 days, and omega man the entire world (almost) is infected with a disease that makes them into "zombies" and only a few survive and try to live. Also in both their is only one black person (a woman) alive in the entire world, and they find them. I think its almost the same thing if you really think about how similiar the plots are- with some minor changes.

Tell you what mm: next time I head over to Blockbuster, I will rent Quiet Earth, and make a thread on what I thought. Until now truce.

"28 Days Later" also ripped off "Day of the Triffids."

Besides the many general similarities, in both stories, the main character is guided to a high rise apartment building in London by a light in the window.

Alright - there is no bigger fan of \'28 Days Later\' on this board, than me. However \'28 Days Later\' ripped off \'Day of the Dead\' in so many ways..

In no way was \'28 Days Later\' an original movie, but it was a highly enjoyable movie and I cherish mY R2 DVD.

Don\'t confuse "28 Days" w/ "28 Days Later"...

The former stars Sandra Bullock...
