Soul Calibur 2 is out in USA!

There are reviews on gaming sites and impressions are good.Perhaps the best fighting available on any console.It got a 8.5 from gamespot.

Has any of you guys bought it?I d like to hear impressions directly from you.THE TRUE GAMER!!:p

they should have called it soul calibur 1.5

OPS2 mag in the UK gave it a 10/10!

I never played SC 1.  I just had soul blade on ps1 so it\'ll be fairly fresh to me.  Although ign and gamespy both say the game plays almost identical to the original.

I will buy the PS2 version.. I dont support male camel toes (SCII Link)

I\'ll get for GC. I prefer link over heihachi. Nah, the gc version looks faster, smother and nicer.

The three versions are about the same graphics wise. The xbox version supports higher res HDTV though.

Fast - you\'re on crack. Every place has compared them and the PS2 ad the worse reviews of all..

Slow loading..
Frame loss , when sparks appear..
Blurry textures (as you can see in that pic)
And lamest character of all..

I havent picked any up - but I imagine I\'lll get the Xbox version, and use the S-pad ..  The only thing the PS2 version had goin\' for it was the control pad - and from what I understand the S-pad isn\'t so bad for Soul Calibur..



To bad realy, I wanted the NGC version, but I can\'t break down and use the NGc for the game.

Those reviews may be true but ill still get the ps2 version. I hate the fact that Hiatchi is in it. I wish they could have bought the rights to put Dante or somebody in SCII. I personally like the idea of playing with link over spawn but thats only cause i know his move set and not spawns.

Anyway, I dont trust too many opintions except my own so IF i do by this game, ill be sure to pick up the ps2 version.

Heihachi is gay Link is gay Spawn is gay and the whole dumbass idea of guest characters is \'will & grace\' gay.

I picked up the S controller yesterday and it works pretty well for bloody roar extreme.  Haven\'t tried out the analog controls but the white/black buttons are sort of sunken in making them harder to hit.

True. The series really doesnt need them. It just makes it feel lame and that they had to have some other standout attration to make more sales.

Thats ghey. Estimated, what percent of games use the black and white buttons out of the games you\'ve played?

Well so far I\'ve only used it on Bloody Roar extreme (I just got it yesterday).  That game uses the black button but not too often.  Haven\'t played Halo with it yet either.  I don\'t know that it\'s really that big of a pain but I will have to train my hand to remember where it\'s at.  But I think the trade-off is worth it for the d-pad.
